The restaurant have put their prices up to cover the 30% commission not to fake the discount. They've then offered a discount to attract people in (to cover basic costs or try and get repeat business) and will be losing money on it. They'll probably offer the lower prices if you go direct, every restaurant around here does but most people are to lazy to do so.

Again the problem is not the price to offset the commission, the problem is setting that price, doubling it, then setting a 50% discount to bait people to click on their restaurant.

Blame deliveroo not the takeaway. They'll be charging the restaurant 30% commission on top of all the fees that they charge you.

How does the discount affect the commission if the sum total is the same price? It’s not the price, it’s the guise of it being discounted that’s the issue.

its click bait for their restaurant.

I"m surprised there isn't more criticism of Lange at the moment.

He's responsible for the underlying footballing principles of the club, he has a very big say in the selection of managers, and in the signing of players. He's our number one football based executive.

If he's doing that job well, we're not where we are at the moment.

If he's being prevented from doing that job, sidelined by the manager or overpowered by the CEO on sporting matters, then you'd ask why he's stayed on.

The decisions should be his, if they aren't, he's a puppet and should be resigning, if they are, then he's made some stinkers and should be under a lot of pressure..

It’s been bizarre since Jack pulled the rug. Actually, it was bizarre when we started playing with the coaches. Sad to say it feels like we need a total clean slate on the football side - and some real lines drawn too. Our strategy is all over the place.

I'd obviously love to be wrong, but if people think Poch is a realistic target, I think there's going to be an awful lot of disappointment. Honestly, I think we're too much of a basket case to tempt Frank at this point of the season, I give no credibility at all to the previous tweet.

We're in a relegation scrap, with a year of shit football behind us, little confidence,, and a tough run of fixtures coming up

This is part of the problem with delaying the change, the worse you get it’s exponentially harder to solve

equally, I am tired of defending, what is appearing to be the indefensible.

I have mustered arguments, to defend our manager.....but the repetition of turgid football is taking its toll....whether, its the manager or the players or both.....something has to change, and change quickly.

The same noises are repeating themselves after every game.....that is not a good sign, I have heard it all before.

As you may know, I don't like changing managers, I believe in continuity and still do......but the offerings are embarrassing.

    something has to give.

Despite how hard I’ve gone in the past (definitely too hard on occasion so I apologise! I’ve been laying the jokes on thick lately) I do respect your position and understand where you’ve been coming from even if I see it completely differently at times and I do appreciate trying to stay positive and hope for the best. One thing for sure with football is everyone gets proven right as often as they’re proven wrong and it’s still possible Gerrard could make most of us look stupid.

I think we all agree we support Villa and want to be entertained, just see different ways of getting there.

ive seen it mentioned on podcasts and realise i do the same, i spend games now just scrolling on social media on my phone rather than watching the game. it's all so dull

i remember being on the edge of my seat during the lockdown games. we were so fun to watch

Shitposting in here during games provides the actual entertainment

I can’t get over just how slow we are.. in everything we do. It’s like every game is a training ground game, it’s bizarre. Little to no tempo in anything.

A number of our coaching staff have a lot of explaining to do on this. It’s been a decline in our speed of play ever since we brought Danks in.

I have to say Tom....That performance was Rancid.

To be fair to you, I actually thought the players were particularly poor last night. Regardless of the managers set up we should have done more against them. Not a lot of credit to dish out last night.

Yep, unbeaten in 4 with an injury ravaged team.2 points outside the top ten.

Forest parked the bus and caused us no issues. Our front players were garbage. He needs to find a way to turn the chances into goals!

    Onwards and upwards!

Come on TRO, leave this nerd’s little club and join the cool kids over in Gerrard Out camp!
