Laughable how we slate our best player from yesterday, who ran his socks off and scored a worldie, then suggest buying will effing hughes.

    Make it make sense

I never slated or mentioned Mcginn. I just suggested Will Hughes could be good value because the commentator yesterday said he was training with the U23’s as he rejected a contract and less than a year left. Thought he was a good player the year they went down. Maybe good value squad player. I thought this was a summer transfer window page and where we held such discussions.

  2. Avoiding coming in here due to negativity, but it’s true we do seem to get over run in the middle of midfield. I noticed that Will Hughes wasn’t in there squad yesterday, he rejected a new contract and only has a year left he looked good for them the last couple of years.

    days before, kick off?

Sometimes at that stage of people’s life, things can happen unexpectedly. personally I hope it’s not that but it could be something along those lines let’s not jump to conclusions. Wish him the best. We’re more than covered in the coaching department I really wouldn’t worry about it.

Sell him - his stock will never be higher.

We have Buendia and Bailey as likely first choice out wide. Then Traore. After that, it has to go to JPB, and in an emergency, Ollie would do a great job our wide, now that we have Ings.
Plus we have Barry likely to be pushing next season, and he seems to be operating from the left.

Why we would want to keep AEG (and probably Trez once fit) is beyond me, if we can get decent money (£10m+) to strengthen other areas.

Once we start stockpiling players, our wage bill becomes unrealistic, and we then can't shift them as they wait for their contract to run out.

Sell players at their peak. AEG is there right now.
And thank you very much for your service Anwar.

Have to agree with your post. I think him being on the bench will squash any confidence he has and Anwar with no confidence is not going to be an asset. I also think he’s one of those players that benefited from playing with no crowd and with crowds back I think he’d struggle more and play with less confidence and worried about making a mistake and losing the ball and the crowd getting in to him.

Been a good player for us in spells, some important goals and has been an overall success but simply think we’d be better to cash in on him now.

It isn’t if your happy to settle for bottom half places , every top defensive midfielder has to be able to contribute to the attacking build up, they’re not expected to get goals or tones of assists but carrying the ball out of and being calm and quick in possession is what Kante, Rodri, Fabinho ect do, Tbf West Ham don’t play with a dmc but have a imposing one in Soucek who contributes with a lot of goals, If all you want is a big man who tackles and lays it off might as well stick Mings there

Rice is a DCM so they do but I don’t really want to see us looking up to West Ham

Van Dijk, Mane, Oxlade, Shaw, Schneiderlin (when he was good), Hojberg, Wanyama, Lallana and most importantly of all....Matt Targett!

They could've easily gotten into Europe.

I'm very happy with who we have in charge of the club and I'm confident the future is bright with these guys.

As others have said, the main thing I took from this video was that they are clearly unhappy about something. Maybe the way things have been handled, or being kept in the dark by Grealish's team on things  but this seemed very much like "setting the record straight". Also the fact there was no thank you, no good luck speaks volumes.

That was the best bit for me

We’ve spent, what, 85m on the three signings so far? Give or take a couple of mill. Not to mention their wages and also the wages for Young as well.

There really can’t be that much more going on in terms of incoming. If there is then great. But I suspect there won’t be.

No but samatta, engles, Elmo, taylor, gone. I’d say hourihane, Wes, Trez wilL probably go too.
