Sprinted 100 yards to score his goal according to MOTD
That show game intelligence

We ask too much of him.
He has too tackle, chase, pressure, score goals, create goals and on top of that today he had to man mark the def Liverpool player, (Gerard, Lucas)
If he could do all these jobs he would win the Ballon d'or. ( or come close)
He is a young player, who is absolute quality. I actually think that in a couple of season he will be able to do all those jobs to a very, very, high standard.
Nothing but praise from me.

Me too danishlad!
I'll get you a trial
-
Anyway back to Clark, he is winning far more balls in the air this season.
-
Not really he doesn't seem to have that turn of pace that gives you a chance to make a tackle. Shame really. He seems like an honest lad who always gives 100%
His guy scored, but our midfield was not helping either.Yes he was at fault for first goal but still played very well bar it. If him and Vlarr stay paired up then I predict we will definitely be in the top half of the league. Suarez and Sturridge aren't easy to keep quiet.
Does Westwood ever really help defensively?
-
Bacuna played a lovely ball in behind for him today but he was too slow.
I admire the hard work he puts in and actually his strengths are exactly what we need
A good engine, low centre of gravity when pressing, passing, etc
Only problem is he does this only to championship level. He would be a star in the Danish league.

Definitely improving.
-
World class in first half. Coutinho in his pocket
-
Ha, ha Cropley, you really have issues with this. Was Kenny Swain a right back?I still think he is a better defender than Lowton. He just needs to learn how to keep a cool head.
He really isn't, Lowton is no world beater but playing Bacuna at right-back is frankly scandalous. I have no idea what they do at BMH during the week, but teaching Bacuna positional sense is way off the curriculum I guess.....he's dreadful.
Bacuna 1v1 defensive is very strong, quick, and aggressive
Lowton not so much IMO. But good crossing.
If we're playing a counter attack game, Bacuna is best right back for me. Attacking Lowton

One thing we need is a backup Gabby. Someone who can really stretch teams with pace on the left. That would be one of the priorities in the Summer for me.
Tonev- ill get my coat

A team built on a shoe string should have been 4-1 up at Liverpool.
Fantastic and it's only going to get better.

Dont worry, we will soon knock all this good play out of him so normal service can resume!
If that happens we just ship him back to Chelsea on a month loan
-
Would have been a great goal.
I actually thought he had scored that, I was about to jump up from the sofa. Good job I didn't.Shame that right footed curler didn't go in
He has so much talent, just needs to relax a little more and read the game a little bit better. Then we really could have a player worthy of England call up.
-
Surely he is better than Sylla,
Come on Gardner pull your socks up in training.
-
Guzan - 7 - Good saves and distribution but should know not to go near Suarez (dirty diving expletive)
Bacuna - 7 - Immense in the first half but got sloppy in the second
Vlaar - 8 - Really makes such a difference when he plays
Clark - 7 - Pretty solid
Bertrand - 7 - Composed and can actually defend - who'd a thought that could happen
Westwood - 6 - Some of his set pieces were actually good, got involved
KEA - 6 - Erratic but had some good moments
Gabby - 8 - So difficult to defend against, we really lost our edge when he went off
Weimann - 6 - Good goal but still not quite on form but improving
Benteke - 8 - All hail the beast!
Subs:
Sylla - 5 - Not great really
Holt - 6 - No pace but plenty of good touches and passes
Luna - too late to rate
The ref was atrocious, can't believe he didn't consult the linesmen for the penalty.
Performance: 9 - Probably one of the best displays I have seen in ages - no idea what Lambert has changed?
Agree with this, though bit harsh on Weimann, he ran himself ragged man marking the Liverpool def mid. Did a great job. Scored too.
-
Yes let's hope he doesn't start playing too well.Very very composed today. Bodes very well for the rest of the season!! If he does well, I wonder what that chances of getting him permanently would be...
Save it for next year
-
If Lowton had played today he would have been destroyed.
-
Shame that right footed curler didn't go in

If I was PL I wouldn't be looking for a number ten. I would be looking for a midfielder that has the same attributes as KEA but better. I can understand why PL picks him but he ain't up to the job.
-
I actually thought Holt did ok for someone who hadn't been playing on a regular basis. Not the worst debut at all and his fitness level will be even better in 10 days time when we play our next game.I can't describe in words how bad Holt were! If PAul would brought in Albrighton instead, we might had won
Wasn't the right time to bring him on. He needs to get sharper though, he was off the pace.
-
This is not his best. There's another gear.
But it's on it's way.
Can't wait
-
I'm very happy you don't have to make these decisionsDid enough to suggest he can a decent understudy for Benteke.
Held the ball up, worked hard, looked composed and didn't panic on the ball - which helped our midfield who normally lose their heads....
If he can play that every week, I'd sign him and give a 2-3 year deal. He's never been a quick player so getting older shouldn't really affect his game. Like I said when he signed, he could become a Kevin Davies type player for us....

The whole team were absolutely quality in the first half- 01 Guzan - 6/10. It was a dive yes but he should never have made that tackle. OK otherwise
- 07 Bacuna - 4/10 questionable all game Booked
- 23 Bertrand - 7/10 solid debut, such an improvement on Luna and adds a lot of balance to our team which improves our game as a whole. 1 or 2 bad tackles through trying to impress Booked (Luna - 81' )
- 15 Westwood - 5/10 didn't notice anything he did other than one volley right at the keeper
- 04 Vlaar - 9/10 just a beast. We're nothing without him
- 06 Clark - 7/10 some important tackles and solid alongside Vlaar but at fault for the first goal Booked
- 08 El Ahmadi - 3/10 terrible player Booked (Sylla - 62' )
- 16 Delph - 5/10 didn't notice him
- 20 Benteke - 7/10 still a bit lethargic, but got the goal and he has so much more vision than the rest of the team
- 10 Weimann - 6/10 got a goal but other than that he was still very much Andi Weimann The New
- 11 Agbonlahor (Holt - 49' ) - 8/10 we changed when he went off. He is such an important player to us
Holt - 7/10 did a fine job, chased the ball and brought others into the game. Absolutely doesn't deserve the abuse he gets
Sylla - 2/10 awful. Not a footballer. No talent whatsoever.
Luna - not much time
-
Nice back heel but totally off the pace and timing was off.
Our Best Defender Ever No Argument.

Imagine if we had PM and ML at the same time without the knee problems. Wow.
