  1. Bournemouth have won just four of their last fourteen, and those wins came against, Burnley, Luton, Everton, and Crystal Palace,

Away from home they've only beat Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester United.

They had a good run from the end of October up until the end of Decemember, which has essentially saved them from a relegation battle

But ultimatley they're where they are in the table for a reason, and it's a game in normal circumstances we should win if we perform well

But of course having played Arsenal and Lille already this week it's not normal circumstances, so will have to see how we cope

  2. He worked in incredibly hard against Arsenal, his workrate was off the edge, so I think that would have taken a lot ouf him as well as us as a team. So just had to get the job done today by any means, that we did do so after beating Arsenal just a few days ago spells a brilliant week for us so far

Yannick (Quentin Dupieux) - Very entertaining film, enjoyed it

Heaven Is Still Far Away (Ryūsuke Hamaguchi) - Interesting idea for a film, pretty good

  4. This idea that we plucked him from obscurity isn't really true, he had played the last nine games of Arsenal's league season and was also playing in Europe and the FA Cup for them, he played in the FA Cup Final that Arsenal won, and he was getting a lot praise for his performances at the time, and when we were first linked the reaction was very positive because of how well he had been doing, also it was reported that Arsenal only sold him because of FFP reasons, and the most obvious choice was one of their two keepers, because they had two good ones at the time, I remember looking on one of their forums and a number of them wanted to keep him instead of Leno

Of course I don't think anyone could have predicted he would do as well as he has done for us and Argentina, but it wasn't as if we spent £20m on some random Arsenal squad player

  5. He didn't have a good game, but none of our attackers did until we conceded second goal, and that was due to the way we set up, as in we were sitting back for much of the match, it wasn't a game for the attackers. Was only three league games ago that he provied assist for Zaniolo to rescue a point against West Ham and scored and assisted against Wolves to help us win that

  6. Lost 6-0 to Brighton at Bodymoor, doesn't get any easier on Saturday as they play Arsenal. Form of U18s usually drops in the second half the season as a number of players move up to the U21s. Still some very promising players as individuals in that group though, I remembe Munroe playing for our U18s and they were getting battered every week, he's come on leaps and bounds this season and made first team bench on a few occassions

  7. I saw that interview and thought the same thing, unless she just meant the rest of her loan and chose the wrong word whilst being interviewed on the spot. We need a bigger squad next season, so I don't think she would be a bad signing, as long as it's alongside some more quality

  8. I think we tried to play the same way we did against Ajax in the away leg of that tie, keep it tight, more long balls than usual to conserve energy, in that game it essentially worked because we didn't concede, but like that game when we do have the ball we're not keeping it well enough, and obviously we conceded early today.

Can't help but feel that our best form of defence might actually be to attack, I know LIlle have good home record in that regard, but we showed we can cause them trouble in the first leg. I imagine the intention would have been to bring on Bailey later, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him on at halftime now

  9. They be back, they've won ten of their last twelve in the league and got an away draw to Manchester City in that run too, they actually played well against us, we just played better. We need them to do well in their next two against Wolves and Chelsea, so when they play Spurs they've still got something to play for

  10. 3-0 isn't actually as bad as I thought could happen before the game and the sending off, never nice to lose in any way of course, and annoying that our only game in almost a month had to be away to Chelsea and then sending off happened, ending any hopes of an upset however remote, but could have been a lot worse.

I didn't see game, but hopefully Poor is okay, she dislocated shoulder playing for first team against Villarreal in the summer which kept her out until recently, hopefully she hasn't aggravated that, some going making her debut at 17, must be one of the youngest WSL keepers if not the youngest

in more positive news our U21s beat Spurs 6-1 today Rachel Maltby, and Martha McPhail with two goals each, and Milly Round and Megan Shaw with the others

  11. I think most of the U16s that are left have already played for the U18s, a few it seems have moved on. Not beyond the realms of possibility that some of the U15s could get a chance before the end of the season, I think a number of them already have in behind closed doors games

  12. Going to take a number of years for new ground to get built, but still strange to spend the money they are on the current stadium, the plans aren't small, that box stretching the length of the pitch by itself seems like a massive hassle by itself. I wouldn't be surprised if their real intention is to get them promoted and then sell on for a profit, which actually would't be a bad thing from their point of view

  13. They've already spent quite a bit of money, bought the club, have refurbishd their training ground after it burnt down, and have also done up the stadium somewhat, as well as having bought the wheels site, they've apparently bought a bunch of other land besids that, 60 acres in total was the quote I saw. What I though was strange was the plans they've announced for their current ground, they're building two fan parks, and a bar in the stadium called 'the box to box' that stretches from one end of the pitch to the other, they're also expanding and 'reorientating' their club shop, all this going to cost tens of millions, not sure why they'd do all that if they're moving, their fans rationalizing it as the owners wanting to see what works and what doesn't for new stadium*

  14. Two games in three days for the U18s starting tomorrow and an U21 game inbetween, and possible that some of them might be needed for first team bench. Not sure how they will manage the players, maybe use more U16s than usual for one of the U18 fixtures

  15. Stoke City player Kayleigh McDonald suffers serious career threatening injuries and had to set up gofundme page for private treatment that costs £20,000, because Stoke wouldn't pay and she had to join NHS waiting list. It's gone viral, so they've backtraced now and agreed to pay for her treatment, but not a good look for them, pretty sure their owners are worth billions

Her instagram explains it better, written before they had their u-turn
