I didn't watch the game due to personal issues. How did we play?
Very good first half, until 4 or 5 minutes of madness. Second half we proved if anymore was needed we can't break teams down when they park the bus. City were fortunate to win this today.
-
Is there a more lazy striker in the league than Adebayor? Tevez I felt was the difference for City today upfront. Shame Gabby was so quiet, as Carew was dominating Toure first half.
-
As much as I dislike stroke/melted candle/twitch face I hope Spurs get forth over City now.
-
If Carew's shot went in and not hit the woodwork it would have been a different game. Suicidal 5 minutes cost us, City parked the bus second half and we couldn't break them down. Cuellar MOTM for me, outstanding display at right back.
-
Only sing when they are winning - really don't want City to get 4th now.
-
Flattering scoreline, City have been very poor today.
-
Not a lot you can do when City park the bus for the second half
-
I hope City don't get 4th after this
-
Was that City's first good corner of the day? Their service has been shocking for the most part.
-
Most overrated winger in the league on for Citeh.
-
4th is Spurs after this performance from both sides.
-
Gabby was fouled just then surely?

Fonz and Heskey warming up

Pathetic falling over from De Jong there.
-
Comfortable save by Friedel
-
Barry is injured. Viera is a dirty word removed.
-
Adebayor - laziest striker in the league.
-
Unlucky Ash - Fulop is shaky
-
Can Johnson actually take decent corners?
-
For all their possession and corners, City created very little in fact. I don't recall Brad making many saves up until the two goals they scored fortuitously. We are still in the game.
-
Carew has been all over Toure and Fulop is looking shaky, we've had chances and we'll have more in the second half. Just a few lapses have cost us, still great defensive display for 40 minutes.
-
A few players are slipping on the pitch, was it watered just before kick off?
-
It wasn't just Warnock's fault for the second goal.
-
Of all the people in the world to score - horrible feeling right now.
If Gareth Barry had stayed, would we be top 4?

For all Barry's passing ability, I would rather have the engine and work rate of Milner in the middle, since Barry is devoid of any real pace. Barry doesn't score enough goals either (unless they are penalties) what is it 2 goals for City this season in all competitions? We've moved on as a team and Barry is no longer the sort of player who can get us into the top 4.
