  1. Good debut by Walker, great build up for the final goal. Pity that despite the referee's best efforts we still won, Houllier made his subs at the right time, we were under the kosh for a little bit we hung on. League form goes out the window in the FA Cup so pleased with going into the next round, could give the lads a lift.

  2. With regards to thread title, I would not like Houlliers sack

Well the vast majority don't want to back him.

The cracks are clear. As someone who approved of his appointment in the begginning we need to consider a dramatic change. I'm no fan of chopping and changing managers but it seems the fans and players are against the present regime. However, nothing can excuse the performances and attitudes of players at the club.

  3. Incredible really that a third of people blame a manager who is no longer here and can have no influence whatsoever on our results.

Equally incredible that only a third blame the manager who was appointed to lead the team and who should take full responsibility for our results.

Talk about burying your heads in the sand.

BTW, I voted for Lerner - he hasn't invested squish all in the club for over a year, imposed a ridiculous sell-to-buy policy on MON and then appointed an incompetent manager to take his place.

Of course MON's departure had an impact on results. Especially in the early part of the season, when we were left with a highly inexperienced manager in charge. Thus missing out on European football and any transfer activity as we actively searched out a replacement. Afterall, it was MON who agreed to sell one of our most influential players in Milner.

  4. Can't score and now we can't defend....a chairman who has still yet to make his plans clear to us, and a manager who is probably past it. The injuries have obviously hurt, but good sides cope.

Somehow we are STILL without depth, STILL without a prolific goalscorer, and STILL without a midfield with backbone.

What the f*ck is going on?!

Most teams would struggle without 4 natural centre midfielders to choose from.
