Am I right in thinking that Crystal Palace's option to buy after a season-long loan would be based on his market value in a year's time and they would have first refusal to buy at that price? If so that would get his wages off the books for this year and might actually lead to a decent fee if he has a good season!?

Andi might be starting as a central striker in Austria's friendly against Greece tomorrow. When asked in an interview [in German] he said he is ready to play the main man up front for Austria and hopes he can bag his first goal for the national team.

Hi VT family, I'm Fabian, a Villa supporter from Austria/England who currently lives in the US. I lived in Brum from 2006-2010 and managed to go to some games back then after having chosen Villa as my team a few years prior (Thanks, football manager). Spent some time in England again this summer and was lucky enough to go to the Walsall pre-season friendly, getting me very excited for the upcoming season. Looking forward to contributing to VT. UTV
