I'm not sure that's classed as average I thought that was the legal minimum for full time employment over a full year. As I said I'm not exactly claiming I'm hard done by but it seems that quite a few people here are getting a fair bit more than that.

    Fair enough, was just clarifying.:D

I think my colleagues get more days than me but only perhaps 2 or 3, not totally sure.

Yeah I'd give you Rob Lowe.  I only know him really as Sam Seaborn (I actually prefer Josh from the West Wing if I'm being brutally honest) though, I've kind of missed out on his newer stuff.  Not at all sure about this Duchovny bollocks.

The transition from Sam Seaborn to Eddie Nero is so utterly drastic it's ridiculous.

I don't think it's what he has done (though he has made some rather silly statement's) I think its more to do with what, given his background, people are expecting him to do.

The redundancies he has made today being an example.

This is the second thread I've seen this mentioned in, is there a link to this story as I've seen no mention?

PS - good luck fitting 40,000 shirts in two skips...  That's the entire stock of around 5 large, single-storey retail stores.

First thing that occurred to me, utterly ridiculous.

Right I'm going clean the rabbit out. I expect a gabby goal and richardson goal by the time I get back.

Is there a tube involved too?

EDIT: you know what? Rabbits are a bit too big for that, I reckon

Ha! Just been discussing Rita with my mates.

She's not ugly as far as I'm concerned, objectively speaking, I'd say she's an attractive girl.

However, I'm not nearly as fussed about her as clearly some are on here. I can't work out what it is, but something about her really annoys me and has done since she first appeared.

    Racist.

Bought this at the weekend, seeing as I'm now unemployed in real life, and started a game as Wolves.  Limited transfer budget, and Wolverhampton isn't Madrid, so I'm gonna need some tips for bargain buys.  Come at me!

As Rds says, South America is (in my opinion) the best place to get players. They're typically cheaper than European alternatives so have lower risks. Careful not to get sacked and leave all the 4/5 star potential players with Wolves though. :D I did this with Lincoln who I bought for Villa at a measly price of £4,000,000, got sacked after a few months (before he'd even joined) and decided I'd try to get him when I got the Arsenal job...£30,000,000.

I'm sure @Daniel and @tarjei have better advice based on their ridiculous saves.

Does anyone have a link to the actual article. I'd be interested to see if he actually called us that, or if it's the usual Evening Mail spin.

“It is still a massive club with the fan base it has but I thought they were a little bit delusional,” he told BBC WM.

They are six points adrift at the bottom of the table and Grant believes the fans are "delusional" if they expect the current team to be a force in the top-flight.

"They have changed [managers] too often, too quickly with the amount of young players they have," he said.

"When I talk about the fans being delusional, you've got to accept where you are at this moment in time and give somebody the confidence to build instead of being critical.

"Even if it takes you 18 months to two years you have to give that manager an opportunity to try and get a structure, a way of playing and find a winning formula."

Do not worry about it. The BBC are trying to create another negative piece to fit their agenda, piss poor journalism. Like anybody cares what Peter Grant thinks? :D Who? Scraping the barrel.

I don't get it... The BBC's headline is "Aston Villa relegation would be 'nightmare' - Peter Grant" and it's the Mail who went with "Aston Villa fans are 'delusional' says former assistant manager" so maybe saying the BBC have an agenda is pushing it.

Why is my missus happy to leave the microwave switched on constantly but feel the need to turn off the kettle every time she goes in the kitchen

Perhaps the microwave has a clock that resets when the microwave loses power?

Not that I know what kind of microwave you have...
