No Hutton for FA cup?
Correct

Cleverley's best contribution if he has knackered Brunt...

I think I prefer BT Sport coverage to Sky. Anyone else agree? HD looks really good.

These aerial shots on BBC are amazing, our stadium is beautiful
Always looks amazing on night matches with the flood lights on coming in from the M6

About 33-34 for tomorrow, 37-38 for Saturday I reckon. Most of the difference down to the bigger away allocation, sorry to say.
Don't even think it will get as high as that tonight by the looks of things! I don't blame anyone either in all honesty.

It makes me laugh how people are moaning about a system that rewards the fans who do attend and stops away fans buying tickets in the home end. There will always be special cases where people are miles away and can't attend but generally most can make it to a game but chose not too then when we have a big game they mean they can't get tickets. I've had a load of mates phone me for references and i just point out we played Stoke at home since the draw and we have 12 cup finals remaining not just a 1/4 final. The ticket office will look at individual accounts and reallocate tickets to other references it'll just take longer for you to do it.
I agree with the majority of your sentiment but given the fact that demand isn't that high and we aren't even close to selling out, I just feel it's a terrible business move for the club to reject tickets they could have sold.
-
Surely they must put it on general sale, even if it's the day before. I swear on any normal given match day there must be 1k that turn up and just buy tickets on the day? There's always a huge queue at the box offices and I would expect even more so given the significance of this game
-
I'm planning to go with three people, two of us have accounts with booking history and have been season ticket holders in the past - No issue there. One has no account however has been to a variety of games over 20 years. I've created him an account but because the account hasn't bought anything previously, the system won't accept a ticket assigned to him. Surely away fans buying in the home end isn't a big enough issue to prevent legitimate Villa fans over 25 years from getting tickets when availiability is good
-
So are tickets for this game not going to go on general sale?
-
Still don't seem to have the correct privileges on my account. Do we have to wait till the box office is open?
-
Lots of ST holders are in the same position as myself and haven't got tickets yet as the people I'm sitting with aren't eligible until tomorrow.
After the end of Friday there will be limited availability in large parts of the ground I'd have thought.
Yeah, I'd second this. Still wouldn't expect it to sell out though. There's a chance if we beat them in the league and have a final surge following that
-
Will be busy on Friday morning I suspect but by the looks of things as long as people are fairly prompt, they will be able to get tickets
-
If there was ever a cup final mentality required... We just need to get something... anything, from this game to build upon and to boost a bit of confidence. I think they have forgotten what gaining points is right now and panicked on Saturday when we were in point scoring positions. 3 would be excellent no matter how it came. 1 would even be a real real boost but a loss and that midweek Baggies fixture looks even more painful, let alone the cup tie beyond.

Thanks! Yeah undoubtedly will be a good attendance, I'd imagine we could get 35k through when it goes to general sale. Being a Saturday 5pm kick off will really help I think. They will bring 6.5k so easily looking towards a full house. We never seem to sell out though, there are always a few rows towards the back in the more expensive areas.
-
Could anyone with the correct account privileges give an update on what the seat map's showing for availability on the official site?
-
Not really too sure the league form is particularly relevant to whether people will want to attend this game. It's a derby for a trip to Wembley. Even if we don't go in as favourites, it's still a once in 10-15 year occurrence
-
Odds on Sherwood have halved on SkyBet in the last few hours. 1/20 down to 1/10. Probably just signifies people believing it's done and thinking they are getting free money...
-
Half of us on here could swing in a better ball from a corner!

Lambert to villa. Danny ings to plop
Ings is supposedly at the cinema according to his twitter?! Also rumoured to have signed pre contract for Real Sociedad
-
Surely Liverpool wouldn't let him go? Appreciate he's 33 and not played a great deal, but they hardly have options up front. If they got somebody else in then maybe but nobody is even rumoured?
-
3 goals in 3 games. Starts might have something to do with it. Less pressure might have something to do with it. Delivery and team set up might have something to do with it.
Whichever way, I'm glad and wish him all the best as he always seemed to have a good attitude however things were going for him at VP.
-
Good tie for us I think, could have been worse

Leicester - Really turning into quite the rivalry this season! Thankfully a home tie though!

Not sure how to post directly to the thread but for those that missed the BT drone shots of Villa Park lit up at night
