So was the ref in the Sheff Utd game in mid-week.
If they were both playing against the same team and both had a ruck of dubious decisions, that would look suspicious....oh wait.

Really? they basically said that the Jesus coming together with Luiz should have been a penalty and the Havertz triple handball shouldn't have been and the goal should have been given. They spouted bollocks from what I heard.
For the penalty, Wright said it was and Jenas said it wasn't...then they summarised it as "seen them given as the bar for contact is so low these days." Seems a fair comment and I agree with them. Indeed, Palace got one for the same thing today.
For the handball, they said "correct decision but silly rule." I can mostly agree with that. Bournemouth's disallowed goal today for the same thing highlights that.

Jordan Ayew was absolutely screwed over today in the Plop match. Neither incident a yellow.

Actually wasn't a bad review of the main decisions in our game. About right.
-
See if they give the same review of the Arsenal handball and the disallowed fourth Bournemouth goal...
-
Genuinely could've been battered today.
3-0. Solanke also hit the post. Two disallowed goals from pure luck rather than any judgement.
Club captain strops around on the pitch to show his distain for the effort/performance...ironically putting more effort into that rather than his work in the match.
Clown club.

I am surprised that it wasn't given.
Not that it's a clean cut pen, but just because refs always seem to find a reason to give these types of teams a pen.

Part of the BBC report...
"Villa defended with discipline and intensity, ultimately benefitting from a late VAR call to stay third, one point off Arsenal in second place..."
BS. It was rightly handball that the ref gave in real time. The only thing we 'ultimately benefitted' from was the ref making the correct decision.
They just can't help but choose phrasing that takes away from what we do each game.
Whoppers.

O'Neill is a bit of a Ms Doubtfire tribute act nowadays.

Huge shirt pull and a handball before Bournemouth broke for Solanke's close effort.
VAR not interested. Why would they be?

I'm always of the opinion we should always look for the easiest draw possible...so someone like Stevenage at home would be great

Don't know why it isn't used for correct corners etc anyway. Would take seconds.
-
Carlos' quads of granite probably doubled the speed of Lo Celso's shot...any other player and wouldn't be a problem.

BBC match thread headline.
Spurs 1-2 Aston Villa : Son has third goal disallowed.
Bunch of nobs. They weren't disallowed. Offside means it shouldn't have even got as far as the net anyway. This is why we think there's a bias.

I found an article and some of them are wild
Nathaniel Chalobah, Harry Winks, Michael Keane, Jack Cork, Alex McCarthy, Lewis Cook, Solanke, Maitland Niles, Coady, Ben Godfrey, Sam Johnstone, Bamford, Kyke Walker Peters, Tyriek Mitchell
Without confirming, that feels like a list of England U21's that he's given a treat to as reward for going through the levels.
He was calling trash like that up instead of Grealish and Mings.

Absolute shit.
Had one purple patch in his career in their first year back up in the Prem. Garbage at every other point in his career.

West Ham are traditionally a bad match up for us....however, I don't think they will press us high up which is where we've looked weaker than season. We may be able to get a lot of control because of that.
But their strengths of playing on the counter and being good at set pieces goes straight up against our weaker elements.
I can see them scoring a couple, hopefully we just outscore them.

Is Smith a pundit today? I think he'll be quite good at that if so.

That line about the problem being the sponsor logo rather than the shirt material smells like absolute bullshit from Castore trying to shirk the blame.
Even if it sounded remotely plausible, the issue was still there in our European games in which we notably had no sponsor.
Oh come on, clearly Castore know what they're talking about. The problem was hardly visible in the European games
