ENGELS YOU BEAST

1000% Wesley will come good. He hasn't done anything wrong and if there's one thing we'll be able to drill into him it's how to use his strength effectively.
-
I won't let my distaste for Taylor cloud my judgement. In Dean we trust. Solid lineup that is as close to the play-off final team as possible.

First Carroll and now Nakamba taking on number 11, interesting.

I trust the management. We can revisit this in January if injuries hit or if Trez struggles to adapt.

Very happy with our summer dealings regardless!

If he can hit the ground running and build some confidence, with a lot less pressure on his shoulders, I can see him doing OK. Certainly OK enough to at least warrant a permanent transfer away from us in 2020.
-
I can see Hogan getting a few goals on loan and us selling him for a fair price next summer. Good business, best of luck Scott.

Seems Brentford have just signed a french winger for 7m.
-
The physio stretched his leg out a few times and he seemed to walk off okay.

My issue with him is off the ball. Move your lazy ass.

Looks more like a CM in that video.

Very happy with this. What's he like on the deck? He'll need to be comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Hourihane is a better goal scorer and will play more games every season
This I don't disagree with but it would've been interesting to see how Lansbury performed last season if he switched places with Hourihane.
Naturally Hourihane wins any comparison because of his set piece ability and lack of injuries but I do think Lansbury edges him in other aspects. All ifs and buts I know but ultimately I certainly think he can play a role this season. -
Apart from set pieces Lansbury can do everything Hourihane can, but better.

I've got a good feeling about this one.

Can't wait to see how this guy operates at DM.

Negatives aside I was impressed by his composure on the ball at times during that first half, I can certainly see the comparisons with Tuanzebe.

He'll learn. He gave the ball away in the lead up to the goal but I thought he grew into the game and was holding the ball up much better at points in that second half.
As far as debuts go, isolated up front against the Champions League runners-up, I thought he did ok.
