Then why is he allowed to run for presedent ?

Impeachment doesn't prevent you from running.

The disqualification language in the Constitution around impeachment is "disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States"; Ross Garber, an impeachment and political investigations lawyer noted that no court or Congress has ever settled the question of whether the presidency counts as an "Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States" from which the Senate is able to ban an impeached and convicted person.

United generally play a lot of games so who was their number 2 last season or did De Gea play every game ? I can’t remember ever seeing Heston. Just trying to get some comparisons.

De Gea played virtually every game. Heaton and Dubravka played 2 games each in the League Cup

Third world countries aren't going green anytime soon so they'll still be belting out the emissions in 50 years time.

3rd world countries should be more able to switch to renewables as the infrastructure for fossils fuels isn't as imbedded, and they can 'skip' the worst of the polluting by using newer technology

this is the problem when you pick a team based on the golf course rather than ability and form

You could possibly forgive Bairstow the 8 easy dropped catches (it might actually be more than that )  from the series if he was batting well and scoring 50's each innings  .. but he's only performed once with the bat

he'd played 2  first class matches after a year off with injury and the selectors thought he was ready for the Ashes  ... there should be a long hard look when this Ashes is over , even if we were to somehow come back from this

We say this every series, and the ECB never learn

Nuclear fallout is covered in article 5, so it’s not unlikely. Poland in particular has a number of f35s ready for this exact scenario together with other JEF forces.

It will likely be the old Soviet republics that will respond, with America being not so keen. Stoltenberg was re-elected today, and he’s categorically said time and time again that NATO aren’t fooling around.

Turkey is another big NATO nation that will likely react due to the proximity to ZNPP.  Russia has struggled with MiG29s, add reapers, eagles and NATO fighters into the picture and Russia shouldn’t stand a theoretical chance. Turkey’s anti ship stuff will take out Russia’s little presence in Crimea in no time. Ukraine caused chaos with some 15 TB2s, Turkey is rumoured to have over 200.

This is why I can't see it happening. Russia have done everything they can to keep NATO out the war. They know if NATO enter it's game over

  6. Question for the smart people. Is the main point of interest rate raises supposed to be to raise the rate mortgages cost, in order to cut spending power?

I had a look and home ownership with a mortgage is only 37% in the UK, so these increases to mortgage rates only directly affect the spending of 37% of the population.

If to bring inflation down, we all need to stop spending as much, wouldn't it make more sense to raise taxes which effect everyone, lowering the spending power across the board? If you're paying for a mortgage surely you'll be contributing a lot less to inflation, as you don't have as much spending money to start with.

I know interest rates also affect the rate at which business can borrow money for investment, but it's the same kind of principle.

I quite like White and Jordan, mainly for Simon Jordan. Laura Woods and McCoist are listenable too. However, Alan Brazil is a buffoon, Gabby is an embarrassment as a Villa representative (the sooner someone overtakes him as our leading Prem scorer the better). Hate the pair of idiots in the afternoon - Hawksbee and Jacob’s I think it is. Terrible. I selectively listen to the people I’m interested in - but agree most of their presenters are trash.

Fingers crossed for Watkins to score 44 next season

Looks like it’s not just players, Allegri has supposedly been offered a huge contract to manage out there. Big Sam must be on the phone to his agent

Saw the other day one of the clubs were trying to get David Moyes, now he's a European cup winning manager 😆

Apparently this week's Question Time has an audience which is entirely made up of Brexit voters. The panel is mixed.

Should be interesting. Apparently you can listen to it live on the BBC website at 20.00 on Thursday evening.

Managed about 15 minutes before I had to turn it off for my own sanity. No wonder we're in such a mess

I hope all the Brexiteers suffer the most. They all need to know there was consequences we all suffer for their stupidity.

It's nonsense though to put the whole inflation blame as if it's solely down to Brexit. The primary cause for the UK having higher inflation than other G7 countries however is down to Brexit factors.

The othe three factors are driving inflation here as much as elsewhere.

Unfortunately Brexit voters were mainly older non-mortgage, triple lock pension retirees. It'll effect them at lot less than younger people who are more likely to have big mortgages or in rentals
