Chelsea fans would go into full riot mode if they ever sold him, he's the last player they'd let leave and he's actually their captain when fit I think so 0%.
Isn't that what they said about Mason 'Mr Chelsea' Mount as well? They let him go on a free
(Not that I think James would be a good signing. Too injury prone)

I don't think anyone here are saying Hamas aren't bad people. Most are taking issues with Israel's response of killing thousands of Palestinians who have nothing to do with Hamas. Last elections in Palestine was 2006, the people don't have a choice

What is the Tory majority currently? It's been gradually whittled away by-elections and defections. How many more are needed before their lead is gone?
Would be hilarious if a large block of them defected to force them out of power.
Elected MPs: 650 (of 650) - Total Voting: 639 - Current Conservative majority : 45 (342-297)
Total Non-voting MPs (11) : Sinn Féin (7) - Speaker (1) - Conservative Deputy Speakers (2) - Labour Deputy Speakers (1)

What do you need to know? I stayed there for 2 nights, seemed very nice but I don't know much.
I stayed near the river in Saõ Nicolau, north side of the Ponte Luis. Seemed like this would be a bit of a happening area which wasn't much the case (not dead either), but we did have a craft beer bar (Cervejaria Cask Beer) and a port and petiscos bar (Wine Chalet) right by our hotel (Porta Nobre).
You have to be aware though that stepping even a road back from here is essentially going up a huge hill. You would come walk down it (dodgy knees aside) but up is a serious hike! You can uber easily and insanely cheaply though. It's only about £12 from the airport even.
The other district to stay up the hill would be Baixa, near the cathedral and the Mercado do Bolhão.
Mainly looking for restaurant/bar recommendations. I'm staying pretty central so should be plenty around
Also if anyone has done a food/walking tour of the city I'd be interested to hear if they thought it was worth it or not

The people of Russia should be taking a look at whats going on in Tbilisi
Unbelievable that the leading political party of Georgia can think that Russia did nothing wrong invading their country.
'The billionaire founder of Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili, claimed this week that a Western "global war" party was using the country as part of its confrontation with Russia. He said Georgia had been set against Russia in 2008, when Russian forces invaded the country'.
Hopefully the people can remove this Russian shill, like they did in Ukraine

Can I double check something with this US money. The money doesn't go to Ukraine does it? It's basically the US government spending money on US based arms companies to increase their operational capacity, and then donating some of the additional weapons/ammo to Ukraine and Israel?
In the very simplified version

I've wanted to improve my fitness for some time now but I always get exercise induced migraines with anything physically strenuous, it really puts me off.
I also get that really sharp pain when breathing in during cardiovascular exercise which I've read is caused by cold air restricting the airways as we start to breathe through our mouths rather than our noses. I usually end up gasping for air after five minutes lol.
Has anyone experience these things as well?
Have you tried the couch to 5k program? Its an NHS plan and it is brilliant. I've been doing it with my wife on and off, we've gone from just being able to walk swiftly to jogging 25mins continuously. It has a free to use app and everything

New Tory plan to stop the boats is to also send people to Armenia, Costa Rica and Botswana.
I'm pretty sure Costa Rica is just on the list so some ministers can have a holiday over there and say it's a fact finding mission, otherwise I don't see being sent to a tropical paradise as much as a disincentive for immigrants

16 Aug 2023 14:04+01:00Jude Bellingham annoyed Borussia Dortmund team-mates so much that they're glad he left for Real Madrid
Borussia Dortmund players are reportedly glad that Jude Bellingham left for Real Madrid as the midfielder always wanted to be the centre of attention.
Bellingham joined Real Madrid in the summer BVB players happy with his departure
Allegedly felt overshadowed by Haaland
WHAT HAPPENED? According to Bild, Dortmund players believe that Bellingham felt that he was being overshadowed by Erling Haaland and went on to applaud the fans on his own rather than with his team-mates after games. He was asked to lead the team on several occasions last season but his fellow mates felt that he had little leadership qualities and was moody, which created tensions within the squad.THE BIGGER PICTURE: Some of the players even questioned his behaviour with some of his other colleagues as he allegedly was not too kind on a few occasions. The report mentions that he insulted Nico Schulz after Dortmund were knocked out by Rangers in the Europa League in 2021-22. According to lip readers, he reportedly said, "You can't play a f***ing pass, you're f***ing s**t! Every damn time!"
AND WHAT'S MORE: It was not an isolated incident and there were many occasions when Bellingham reportedly snapped at his team-mates in the previous season. However, things have improved under new club skipper Emre Can as he is believed to have brought a refreshing spirit to the dressing room. Bellingham's replacement, former United midfielder Marcel Sabitzer, is also liked by his co-stars whereas other senior players such as Sebastian Haller have taken up more serious roles in the team council for English-speaking players.

Don’t take this the wrong way but why would anyone go to watch England in a friendly, especially a Southgate team. It genuinely amazes me how many fans go to these games. I love my football but even I struggle to watch it on TV. I can only assume it’s more of a family event.
Don't you need to go to the friendlies in order to have a chance to get tournament tickets?

Generally thought to be better to be away first.
With no away goals it matters less now. Big wins in the home games and then keep it calm the away legs

Are there any estimates on what % of GDP Russia spends on defense?
I'd assume like 10-15%
