Couldn’t really care less if he gets banned tbh. Might even do us a favour. Looked poor since his arrival.
If we looked at it that way with every player we have bought, we wouldn’t have a team.
I can’t believe the overreactions I read on this thread- 1

Crazy opinion
For me Zaniolo is the better player

The danish commentators for the game, thought he had a great game, but got tired in the 2nd half

People can doubt the contact, but Zaniolo is certainly playing like he's concussed
Apparently we haven’t been watching the same game, because I think he has had a good game today
-
Great to see him starting today

There might be something in it or there isn't, but why not wait to judge him until he has been found guilty?

Eriksen wasn’t fast but he sure as hell could carry the ball forward in short bursts. Although that is one thing Zaniolo does better, im hoping he has as good of a vision and pass as Eriksen. Even the nutmeg Zaniolo did at the weekend was textbook Eriksen. If Zaniolo turned out as good as Eriksen was we would be lucky to have that calibre of a player.
I'm serious and I'm danish, so I have been following CE both for Ajax, Spurs, Inter AND the national team. CE has never been a ball carrier because he has never had the speed even when he was younger...

I still believe, the same maxim for the ball over the line, should be adopted, and create some consistency....the same as the corner kick quadrant, relying on space between the line and the ball
If there is a gap between the offensive player and the last defender, its offside.....if there is no gap, its on.....thats my view of what it should be....and Moussa would have had a perfectly good goal.
The objective of the original rule, to stop goal hanging has been lost to history......To keep the game as a spectacle, this rule would slightly favour the forward, and we could see more goals.
There are too many well executed goals disallowed, under the current rules, its surpressing the skill of the game....its much harder to create than destroy....that should be rewarded by a miniscule advantage, the air gap would do that.
Just use the feet placement to measure if its offside or not, not shoulders, head, chest or anything else

Reminds me of a young Christian Eriksen
He couldn't be further away from looking anything like Christian Eriksen. CE has never had the speed to be able to carry the ball forward. CE has his vision, his passing ranges and a decent shot.

Very good outing today. Took his goal well and set up three excellent chances for his teammates.
Exactly this...

He's so off PL pace it's not funny and he's not getting pace back
No, he is not...He just need to get up to speed again after the injuries he had

He is technically brilliant, and great to watch. I enjoyed his pre season cameos. But physically it doesn't seem like he is up to the pace in the league and with Buendia out, that's a bit of an issue. I'd like him to stay and play his part, but if moving him and a couple of the fringe players out meant we could bring in someone special, I'd be OK with it
It looked like he was up to the pace against Newcastle when he came on, but I know that it wasnt for long.
-
I really hope that he still has a role to play and that we don't ship him off to Saudi Arabia, because he is a very technically gifted player and we haven't really seen what he is capable of under Unai

Stupid comment, you are NOT a Villa if you don’t defend him

I have, I’m just tired of all the negativity when we are in a really good place and in a position most of us barely remember we have been in before
