Clark would also be my choice and would make sense. No other players really stand out for me.

Aston Villa have made a €5 million bid for Beşiktaş defender Alexander Milosevic according to Fanatik.
The Turkish sports newspaper claim that the Black Eagles are considering the offer but are yet to make a decision over the future of the Sweden U21 international.
Beşiktaş signed Milosovic for €1 million in January but he missed the second half of the league campaign with injury.
The Swedish international of Serbian origin joined Beşiktaş from AIK during the winter transfer window but broke his foot soon after making the transfer.
The powerful defender created two assists and scored three goals in 28 appearances for AIK this season before his move to Turkey.
Beşiktaş have had a busy transfer window selling last seasons top scorer Demba Ba for €14 million to Chinese giants Shanghai Shenhua.
Ba scored a career high 27 goals in all competitions for the Black Eagles last season.
The Istanbul giants have also sold 21-year-old defender Atınç Nukan to Red Bull Leipzig for €5 million.

@reluctantnicko @robtho1972 I thought a bid had been accepted?

@tom9022 @robtho1972 The 6m was never accepted. U thought the 9m would do. But some people are tricky to get a straight answer from.

@reluctantnicko @robtho1972 yeah the £9m was the 1 I was referring to! If Nice keep moving the goalposts then so be it out if our hands.

@tom9022 @robtho1972 Think Villa's hunger is more genuine here than some of the so-called rivals ... still fancy u to get your man.

The defender has signed a contract with the Club until 2020.
A Belgium international, Toby came through the ranks at Ajax, making 186 appearances and scoring 15 goals during nine years with the Eredivisie champions, where he lifted three league titles and one Dutch Cup.
He was named Ajax Talent of the Year in 2010, an honour also won by Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen during their times in Amsterdam.
Toby joined Spanish side Atletico in 2013 and was part of the squad that won the La Liga title on the last day of the season as well as reaching the Champions League final in the same year.

@matgavast Meeting today. No word. But trying hard. Should be ok.
Is this guy worth a follow on future Villa news? I can only read his tweets if I follow him.
If you want to ask about rumors than sure. I think it would be worth it.

New York City FC sign Italian legend Andrea Pirlo as club's third Designated PlayerNew York City FC are the hottest team in the Eastern Conference, with four wins from their last five league games, and they're about to get a world-class boost as they make a push for the MLS Cup Playoffs.
Andrea Pirlo is coming to New York City FC.
The expansion club announced on Monday that Pirlo, a 2006 World Cup champion for Italy and winner of the last three Serie A Player of the Year awards, has signed a deal to become New York City FC's next Designated Player, just weeks after starting the UEFA Champions League final with Juventus.
Per league and club policy, specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"I have been wanting this experience for a long time, and now that the opportnity materialized, I wanted to take it," Pirlo said in a club statement. "This is a club on the rise that shares my same hunger to achieve important results in the league."
The 36-year-old Pirlo, a master passer and set-piece taker, joins David Villa and Frank Lampard as Designated Players for New York City FC, who are just three points out of a playoff spot in the East after their 2-1 win in Montreal on Saturday night.
"We have said from the outset that the right player for the third DP slot was worth waiting for," New York City FC head coach Jason Kreis said in a club statement. "Nobody could question that in Pirlo, we are bringing one of the best in the world and one of the finest players to come to MLS. Like David Villa, his final game in MLS was the Champions League final, which demonstrates a player competing at the highest level of our sport."
For Italy, the 36-year-old Pirlo has competed in three World Cups, winning the Bronze Ball in 2006 as the tournament's third-best player when Italy edged France on penalty kicks for the title. He has also featured at three European Championships (finishing second in 2012) and two Olympic Games (winning the bronze medal in 2004), and he remains an active part of the Italian squad under his former Juventus coach Antonio Conte.
Long known for his exploits with AC Milan over 10 seasons, including two UEFA Champions League and one FIFA Club World Cup title, Pirlo moved to Juventus in 2011. In Turin, he continued to excel, leading Juventus to the last four Serie A titles, the most recent Coppa Italia and the final of this year's UEFA Champions League against FC Barcelona.
Pirlo is the third Italian Designated Player in league history, joining Toronto FC's Sebastian Giovinco and former Montreal Impact forward Marco Di Vaio.

Was he training with the main squad today?
Would be surprised if he goes Bournemouth, they've just signed Mings for 8m.
I was just wondering the same thing. Why would they buy another left back when they just broke their transfer record for a left back (Mings)

Jurgen Klopp is open to a job in the Premier League.
Comments (5)Jurgen Klopp has sparked speculation he could become a Leicester City candidate for the manager'shot-seat by stating his next job could be in the Premier Leicester.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager, who topped a Mercury poll of who City fans wanted to succeed Nigel Pearson, has been quoted by a national newspaper over the weekend saying he would be open to an approach from clubs in the Premier League.
Klopp has been spotted in England to watch the tennis at Wimbledon as he unwinds after standing down as Dortmund boss.
Although he initially stated he would be taking a sabbatical from the game, it appears now Klopp is open to offers.
- "If someone will call me then we will talk about it," he is quoted as saying in the Daily Star.
"It's not important for me to stay in the same place for a long time. My children are old enough now to stay alone.
"I know that some clubs were interested, of course. They thought about us.
"The important thing is new ideas not money. It is important to make the next step, and I think England is the only country where I should work next to Germany because it's the only country where I know the language."
His agent, Marc Kosicke, has also previously stated the Premier League is an attractive proposition for Klopp, and not just the bigger clubs.
It is not known whether Klopp is a candidate for the vacant City job but City are searching for a high profile and well respected coach with an international profile, and Klopp certainly fits the bill.
It would appear he is also just a phone call away.

Yeah but the goalie was a little suspect. But don't care how it goes in. As an American this final has gotten our country all excited

i hope he will be offered a new contract shortly

So i signed Sebastian Rode on a pre-contract a season ago from Bayern. Now he is whining that it is his dream to play for Bayern and would like to move back. Seems rather odd
