Considering purchasing a Volkswagen Tiguan. Has anyone here had one?

Had one for three years. An uninspiring drive but sturdy and almost no hassle. Before you part with any money, make sure they’ve replaced the sealant on the sunroof or you’ll end up with a pond in the footwell.

Which 8 jokers gave the referee a rating of Good?

I'll ask it straight, are ye all **** blind?

I’d imagine some would think a red card warrants it.
Not me. Worst reffing performance I’ve ever seen and I used to play Sunday league on Billesley common.

But how would he know he was actually on the moon if we actually took him there?

    It could be drug induced.

    It could be Tredegar.

How does he even know he’s actually real? We might have faked him and he hasn’t realised yet. Some crazy hybrid of VT, The Truman Show and Bladerunner.

They'll not get many people paying this.

I’m intrigued to watch this one play out. I suspect I’m the typical target for this kind of thing. Too far away to be a regular but not enough history to get a ticket to most games. As a one-off in a season I’d probably stump up to see Villa play. Then again, at £120 a go, by the time I’ve paid for me, her and my old man, it’s a very expensive day out. Still probably would at some point though although I’d be full of self-loathing for being part of the ruination of football.

I’m surprised places like Mcdonald’s haven’t set up delivery only kitchens yet. Purely cooking and handing over to couriers.

They have. There's a ghost kitchen not far from me in Hanworth (in that Lundun).

I spoke with my father in law about going as I was still umming and ah’ing if the tickets fell to me. He strongly advised against it home or away, that Legia fans are the worst of the worst 🤣

I was offered a ticket by a mate who is based there while doing secret stuff for the British Govt. I declined for this reason alone. Oh, and I couldn't get away from work either.

BA are blaming the weather so at first glance no … but I’ll write  to them , last time it happened they said I wasn’t entitled to any compensation but gave me some avios and some money as gesture of goodwill

Avios. The most pointless "rewards" system ever invented. I've got them coming out of my ears so checked to see what they were worth. I could get a fiver off a bottle of wine on my next flight.

On the other hand, he thinks of himself as classically British liberal from a philosophical point of view at least.

Funny how he can think himself to be something he’s not (we judge him by his actions rather than his opinion of himself) but doesn't believe others should be allowed to be who they are.

Wow i cannot believe the legal age for being able to consent to have sex is 14 in a country like germany that is unbelievable. Ita also the same in Portugal

I do wonder what their paedo rates look like compared to ours? 14 is just wrong on so many levels

It's not that straightforward though, Dem. If someone over 21 did anything with a 14 year old, they're getting a visit from the old bill. Someone over 21 cannot have any "relations" with someone under the age of 16.

  10. An easy starting point for some or a wild, biased take-down for others. This Graun article will fill some gaps for those in the dark.
