Forest seem to have taken on what used to be our habit, of conceding late, late goals.
SHA are pretty good at it too

Wonder how the cheese boards are tasting for Spuds fans today?

As he’s such a Lahden boyi, Eze would be a great pick up for Spuds.

Probably Emery’s team that have sent this data to the Birmingham Mail to encourage them to write this article.

These are the small details where having a quality manager thinking of that gets us 5-10 more home points over a season.
He's got us a few more than that me ol' mucka !

How many more games are they going to be absolute dogshit in and shithouse a goal!?
Is Steve Bruce in charge of them or something?!?
He'd be a great replacement for ETH. Club legend, can box clever etc.

Watched the zone of interest tonight
a film about Auschwitz that barely shows Auschwitz other than in the background, instead the film focuses on Hoss and his family living in the nearby house .
You watch the family picking out dresses that have been taken from the deceased , talk about the garden whilst chimneys pour out smoke , the horrors going on inside are never mentioned .
its not a film you’ll want to watch a second time , but it’s a fascinating piece of work that lets your own mind piece together what ever your mind wants to piece together , definitely worth a watch
Heard an interview with the composer/sound designer. It’s meant to be 2 movies. The visual is Hoss’s house and the second movie is all the sound you hear (apart from dialogue) emanating from the camp. Screams, chains clinking, burning etc. Unsettling for sure.
Sounds very interesting but dark.

Good catch. I hadn’t spotted that. It’s nice to think that some of these ex Villa players have been able to make a decent living, ~ £2-£3m a year. As good as some current Villa starters.
some current Villa stars.
Also Deano’s new club Charlotte won their 1st game last night - captained by Ashley Westwood

Good little piece on Bailey's performance today on MOTD and how influential he was. Also good to see that he's up in third place in terms of minutes per goal contribution in the PL this season (at 88 mins) behind I think Haaland and Salah. But I did chuckle about the fact that they appear to have missed the fact that Ollie is now top of the goal contributors pile. An oversight because they were talking about Bailey? Or for the conspiracy theorist in us - was it a deliberate choice to use a table on player contributions that had a Man City and Liverpool player at the top - rather than a different stat that now has a Villa player at the top????
Also no one ever mentions that Ollie is not a penalty taker like Haaland, Salah and Kane.
If you take away their penalties he’s probably the top striker in Europe*
*I have not verified this

If we’d have just drawn against Manure twice and SaudiCastle twice we’d be 4 points better off and well in the title race

Folks will be disappointed because we conceded twice. But we played half of that game with our 5th & 6th center backs.
In the first half we played them off the park.
injured:
Mings, Konsa, Diego, Pau. Unbelievable that we still play so well. Unai is a mastermind.

Let's hope for flipping once in his life he tears the LB a new one and for God's sake just puts in a handful of decent crosses. I mean even if it's just through a statistical fluke like if you attempt 10000 crosses at least a few should be okay even if you don't mean them to be
It was a fairly decent cross vs Sunderland for Gil in 2016. Only time I've seen him do it in 7+ years though.

I just floated this by the wife and I said "Maybe I could take our 5 year old."
Her response "Would you want to?"
"Of course not I said!" - She agreed! So it looks like it might be a goer! I hate Ohio but it would be great to be with fellow Villans again.
I was in Portland in 2011 but children have stopped me making the last 2 US tours. (I saw us at VP in the champo but not been over since we've been back in the PL)
