Very reasonable prices. Can’t imagine we’ll see the same if we get CL!

I still don't understand why managers don't have big release clauses like players. People poach great managers and pay £10m in compensation - I'd like to see him with £150m release, something like that.
Assume the other team just has to buy out the contract or something, we don't own the registration like we do with a player which gets the transfer fee. So with that in mind a contract extension means a bit less as a manager than for a player. Still a nice sign though.

I don't really give a shit about the badge as much as most people, just wish we'd pick one and leave it alone. But that new one looks like something a kid would come up with on Microsoft Publisher for the year 9 ICT homework. The text doesn't even look properly centred.

It was in open play at his feet for about a minute, he picked the ball up and got a card straight away.
The ref lost it, how can anyone watch his performance and not see it?
Watch the game in the cold light of day and then pull Emi for gamesmanship and ignore what lille did and the ref allowed is very short sighted and basically follows Lille agenda and our media agenda against Emi.
Their players were asking for our players to booked from 5 minutes in, the ref ignored them, never booked them for it. There was countless fouls, pull backs that were just ignored.
In fairness to the ref(!), I watched it back this morning to check the circumstances of the booking. It was a goal kick that hadn't been taken, the ball was not in open play.

What a match, what a ride. That referee though, surely that's his career over. Just watched the shootout again and the bit where he goes up to Dougie as if to tell him to take it, and Dougie has to remind him he hasn't blown his whistle yet... absolutely farcical.

Words cannot describe how much of a word removed this ref is.

Think I hate this Santos kid more than I hate Rat

They all have been in this competition. Make championship refs look good.

That’s mental from VAR. on the line is in the box isn’t it? And if the foul continues int he box it’s a pen. I don’t see how var can confidently overturn that.

I like it.
feel like Tim will need to play against arsenal so would have liked to see him tonight, but it’s a good team. Let’s **** batter em.

Yeah relatively comfortable in the end, thanks to Emi’s wonder save. I thought we set up wring leaving their right wing so open, and good 6 or 7 times in the first 20 minutes they had success down there. Rogers covering Moreno just doesn’t seem to work and I was disappointed we didn’t address it earlier. The Digne/Zaniolo double sub fixed it but could have been Di e earlier I think. Zaniolo was great when he came on, instrumental in the second goal.

Idiotic free kick back into our corner.

I thought it might be a tactical master stroke. We like to play from the back, we know spris will press. The five gives us an extra player at the back to beat the press and attack. I think it could have worked but passing was just too sloppy today. We got pinned back early on a couple of times and it set the scene for the rest of the match. Konsa especially was poor at playing out today.

Seen them given as not-red plenty of times, but it was silly giving him the decision to make. I'm not mad at our John, he was the only player on the pitch giving it his all today and he boiled over. Well miss him, but it's a chance for Tim to show us if he's got what it takes, and he can play against Ajax then take a bit of rest. Plenty of credit in the bank for this fella so let's not go overboard.

Your time to shine kid.

Looked lively when he came on.
That was never in a million years a booking and now he misses the second leg.
Massive pain in the arse that as I'd have expected him to feature heavily. Booking for absolutely nothing too. What a twerp that ref is.

Can we not 'Cup Final 1 of X' this one for old times sake?

The club has a meeting with the FAB on 27th March to talk through next season's Season Ticket pricing and structure - so with that in mind, It'd be interesting to know peoples thoughts.
Will you be renewing?
Probably, yeah. Unless they really take the piss.
What are you expecting in terms of pricing?
About 10% increase, which is a lot on top of the previous years
What would make the season ticket more attractive to you and what would force you to give it up?
As others have said, sort resale out. They should be put up for sale immediately - the club still makes a hefty chunk out of it and it gives more choice to those unable to get season tickets.
What do you think the club could do differently with season ticketing or season ticket holders?
Some sort of area which fans can go to before and after the game for a few drinks out of a glass with somewhere to sit would be nice. I'm dreaming now but what about some sort of suite, maybe in the Holte.
What are your feelings on the waiting list and the chances of people on the list getting tickets next year?
I imagine any lapsed season tickets won't go to the waiting list as they don't seem to like ST holders anymore and will think they can get more ancillary spending from people who come less often.
How much is yours and how much has it gone up over the last couple of seasons?
£800 odd, was £500 odd a few years back. My dad's been rinsed the most since they got rid of concessions in our area and 'simplified' the seating plan. His went up 67% in one year alone (it was capped to 50% for a year, but just got added on the next season on top of the other 15% or whatever it was
Where do you feel we sit in relation to other clubs and their offer?
My baggies mate pays about tuppence ha'penny, but they're shit so I don't know. Tipping point for a lot of people is a grand I expect. I'll certainly think hard once that limit is broken.

But if they put on another whopping increase that monthly payment is going up a lot.
Put it over 10 months instead and that monthly payment is likely going down or level.
Put it over 12 months and it just becomes a consistent monthly bill, making it far easier to budget.

We are doing what we want anyway.
Bye.
What's the point of these if all the decisions have been made beforehand?
Nah, they're going to 'consult' on price rises on the 20th March
"Would you prefer a 20% or a 25% rise in ticket prices?"
"Our consultation demonstrates that fans show an overwhelming support for a 20% rise in ticket prices"

Pre-match thread - Cup Final 7 of 10

I think you're right, if Man U win the FA Cup they take the second Europa spot. If they finish 8th or below, then 6th would get conference, 7th would get nothing. But that's not our problem.
