  1. Emanuel Gigliotti, argentinian cf also holds a french passport

Same agent as wesley, sport capital, looks like him, dont know nothing about him, played most of his career in s.america. probably not him

  2. Just got home from the game, absolutely speechless. The absolute minimum i expect is to get in the oppositions faces and show a bit of grit, we didnt. Truth is man city didnt have to get out of 1st gear to stick 3 past us within half an hour.

Smiths team selection is what really worries me, it was bizarre at best, against 1 of the best teams in the world he starts conor hourihane in midfield, he drops guilbert who has the pace and abit of aggression what we needed today and puts in elmo its utter madness. Everything about today was horrible

Sign of the times that I'm not thinking "Here's a chance for Wembley" and instead thinking "Please don't embarrass yourselves on TV".

We'll get there, but we're still punching upwards at the moment.

My thoughts exactly, horrible feeling isnt it

It was Alan Thomson that was shouting and pointing not Steve Watson although Watson was on the pitch (my memory isn't what it used to be lol). I think he did only play the once.

I dont remember the shouting bit but i remember him playing and looking right out of sorts, almost like he had won a prize to play for the villa for the night. Im almost sure he never featured again.

I remember watching Gustavo Bartelt playing in a pre season friendly against Bromsgrove Rovers right at the end of the 90's. He played alongside Steve Watson who shouted at Gus and then pointed and even pushed him into position all the time he was on the pitch (Bartelt didn't speak English). There were some hard men in that squad and Gus didn't fancy it at all. Gregory got rid of him as soon as he could.

I remember that very well, i remember the excitment of going to see him, that soon changed! I think he only ever played that game didnt he?

  6. He actually looks like a hes been plucked from the lower divisions in this country, unbelievably out of his depth. God knows who scouted him, the recruitment on a whole has been very good in my opinion but my god we've been sold a lemon in wes

  7. Im really struggling to take to him im afraid, i cant think of one thing he's really good at.  I think with a more mobile striker we would find ourself higher up the league, we need an outlet who can take pressure of the rest of the team, make runs and hold the ball up.

  8. Not the player we need up front im afraid his lack of a football brain sticks out like a sore thumb, he is absolutely static. He makes it so easy for the defenders his lack of movement is frightening, to add to this he cant out jump and win a header against defenders 5 -6 inches shorter than himself. I hate to slate one of our own but it just cant be dressed up.

Yes I don't think arsenal are mentally weak that's the kind of obnoxious comments our fans are coming up with after we've been beat then we deserve that kind of thrashing for some of you to see how they got to us.

We are not above teams you knows they were good enough to beat us and use our sitting back against us, to me that resiliency and not mentally weak.

    What!?
