From the 1 minute 26 seconds I have seen, my in depth knowledge has no boundaries. Let me begin...

    - He is left footed ✅

    - Has black hair ✅

    - Has a very Scottish name, and probably accent ✅

    - Wears number 7 ✅

    - Scored a few outside the box thunderbastards ✅

    Shall I go on...?

    The Scottish Messi??

I agree with drawing attention to that start. It was dreadful.

AFTER that we played 39 games and got 76 Points.

So If we better last seasons start, and then perform at the same level as the rest of last season, we go up.

Im convinced we will do exactly that - starting with a convincing win tonight .

I truly hope you are right @terrytini I do want him to succeed as I believe is made of the right stuff. We have the players who can do it, Everyone needs to come together and make it happen.

  3. I have been pretty much a Bruce supporter since he has got here, but this is my stance on things now.

If we get a similar start to last season (7 Games) and we continue to only play half a game then I think I might change my tune.

He has pretty much the same squad as last year and only Terry being a real lose to me. This starting from scratch he said the other day doesn't hold much water. He has had most of those players all last season. with Kodija and RDL coming back into contention. Looks like he is getting a few new players, but we need to start on the front foot and move things forward.

Steve Bruce says his No.1 transfer window target is keeping hold of his star players like Jack Grealish, James Chester and Jonathan Kodjia.

Grealish, Chester and Kodjia have been linked with moves away but Bruce is determined to see the trio remain at Villa Park.

The arrival of Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens as new majority owners has boosted the club – and Bruce is looking for another lift by leading the claret and blues into the new campaign alongside the likes of Grealish, Chester and Kodjia.

I don't want to be overly negative about it but he hasn't looked the same player at all since coming back from the double injury.

His touch is awful at times, seems slower than I remembered him being and I am concerned he will not get back to the player he was.

And he seems to whine even more than before.

I also saw on Facebook that our u23s won 2-1 away at Derby County, Mitchell Clark and Jacob Bedeau scored us, I don’t know how true it is

It's true, they didn't lie lol

Hmmm, possibly. I did think maybe they are houses we put players in straight after signing, but then I looked at them on Zoopla and they aren't really modern day footballers pads. I can't see what we would do with them other than rent them out for a bit of income?

Could they be homes they held for trainees who would leave home and come play for the Villa back in the day?

They'll be people on here and elsewhere that can vouch for certain things I've said to them privately, but I'm not really overly fussed what others think or believe in truth bud. In an ideal world we'd all just share what we know, but it's just not worth all the silly posts.

I don't think many of the post have been silly, but it's your right to stay anonymous and have others question your knowledge.

I don't actually need to answer these, you'll either have to believe me or not (as the case it and that's fine)

No disrespect to you meant, but I like to see evidence of stuff before I believe most things. Not saying you don't know these things, just wondering how you know theses things without giving sources away.

Xia was holding out for the best deal for HIM, he got lucky. These guys found him, not the other way round. If holding out for the right ones, was literally a day before Administration then yes I guess so. He could of and should of done something sooner. Wyness is a p**ck, however Xia hasn't been too clever either. So he doesn't get a pass from me. I can't wait for the new guys to take full control.

You type that as if you know the man's mind, but you don't (unless you are him?). It would be poor business by any businessperson to do a deal that was bad for him/her. He has admitted he is a businessman and you or I shouldn't be surprised by that. I'd have less respect for him if he didn't. He has managed his oversight of the club very poorly, but doesn't mean he shouldn't sell what is best for him and the club.

How do you know the guys found him?

You say we were a day away from administration but where is the evidence to prove that? We all know the situation isn't great but we don't know the real truth unless we get to look at the books. Are you in a position to do that?

Someone who knows Bruce well who I worked for at OUFC ..... was/is close to walking being sacked whatever ....

Put it this easy would you wanna keep him or go for your own choice ? Lampard went to Derby who are broke.... Gerrard went to Rangers who are broke .... just saying no money doesn’t mean we should stick with Bruce ...

I think there is more of a chance of him going now we have new investors. If they are going to do it, lets get it down so the new manager can have time to work with players before Hull.
