They deserved to get relegated, their fans can count on 2 hands how many games they actually won this season.

One man doesn't make a team, if Emi is out then others have to stand up and be counted. I thought Olsen did well and shouldn't carry the can. Obviously he's going to be under immense pressure when the ball just keeps coming back, what were the other 10 players doing. If you've no confidence in him, do what you can to keep the ball away from him.
I agree, the pressure on him when he does come into the team must be ten times that of when the other squad players are bought on, I don't think he did bad yesterday but unfortunately when you are standing in for the worlds no.1 every little thing you, or those around you do, is going to be scrutinized.

Maybe their presence in the squad will help see us over the line, give us that last big lift and boost.
Final game of the season, we just need a draw to guarantee 4th place, 80th minute Unai brings Beundia and Mings on, its all set for a fairy-tale ending, everyone is waiting with baited breath, they are on fire, 88th minute Beundia finds himself in a 1 on 1 with the keeper, he takes it round him, its an open goal, somehow Buendia manages to hit the post from 5 years, the keeper scoops up the ball and hurls it down the pitch, Palace are on the counter attack they work the ball into the box, its the 90th minute and Mings has a split second moment of madness and wipes out their centre forward and its a penalty......absolutely no one will ever talk about this again because Emi Martinez is in goal and he saves the penalty, Villa get the point, finish 4th and the following season we win the league and each one of the players gets a statue.

If you're getting abuse/verbals, you have every right to give it back. Doesn't matter on the level that the club is at - that's nonsense to be honest.
(Although FWIW, I'd say Coventry are on a similar level to Man Utd).
but you have to remember of course, it depends on how you choose to give it back

So today alone we have had:
Villa win their second game in hand taking 6 points from them and really putting the pressure on Spuds
Man Utd 3-0 up and blowing it in the last 20 minutes
Coventry scoring in stoppage time of extra time and having it ruled out because the Cov player forgot to cut his toenails before the match
Nottingham Forest going nuclear against VAR
The ghost of Enckleman returns to Blackburn to concede a farcical goal which could lead to being one of the final nails in the coffin for the blues
Its been a pretty eventful day.

It's been a good few shows since I last enjoyed anything Carr put out, but we gave it a go anyway.
Just the same old rape and anti-pc jokes, at times he seems to be the only person laughing, and every couple of minutes he ponders if the next joke is the one that gets him cancelled, which wasn't funny or original when he did exactly the same thing on his last netflix special.
The only thing I was offended by is that he's released the same show twice in a couple of years, and it was shit the first time. Though, I suppose there's only so much you can change things up when your entire act is edgy one liners, a sealion impression and a look of surprise
I watched some of this as well, ended up switching it off because I was just bored by it, the whole "I'm going to get cancelled for this" is really tiresome now, it was the same with the last one that Ricky Gervais did, if you are setting out to shock and offend then shock and offend, don't constantly tell me that what you are saying is too edgy and shocking to be cancelled.

I'm glad to hear that it is decent, after I saw the trailer I thought it looked expensively cheap if that makes sense, like, the sets looked dilapidated yet new.
Loved the games though, I never actually finished one because I would just get caught up walking around picking up hundreds of nuka-cola bottle caps.
If there isn't a scene when someone slowly walks backwards while shooting some big scorpion thing then I'll be annoyed, that was what 90% of the fights were in this game lol.

I'm going out today because I feel pretty much repaired now, I think I have to face up to the fact that no matter how much weight I lose I'll never be able to run large distances because of my shoddy hips and knees, I'm going to start off today with a short 2.5k run and see how my hip is and then slowly increase, if I can get up to running 5k regularly and comfortably I'll be happy with that.
In the last month I have stalled a little bit but overall I've lost just over 5st and the end of this week marks 6 months since I started so I've done fantastic, I've got no doubt that I would be a fair bit lower than what I am now but I've had a few things on over the last few weeks that meant unavoidable food and drink, I don't mind that at all though, I've gotten over the guilt of a treat now, I'm still only having a takeaway once every 2 or 3 weeks and outside of the few days when I've had to socialise and see people I've pretty much stuck to the plan.
My target is another 3st and then I'll be looking to maintain rather than lose so I've still got a while to go yet.

The Exorcist, I reckon I could give Mark Kermode a run for his money on the original film, the book, and all of the sequels.

The right wing culture warriors are furious that today is trans gender awareness day, and how dare the trannies blaspheme like this on Easter of all days.
Doesnt take into account that’s its 31st march every year and Easter can be one of about 50 days.
How did March 31st become trans awareness day?
Is there any reason why it is today, or was it just a date that was plucked out of the air?

I always say this but lockdown completely ruined my interest in reading, I used to read 3 books a week, I often used to get sent free books by authors to review.
When I started working from home I couldn't bring myself to pick up a book after staring at a screen all day, it felt too similar to work, I haven't read a book in about 3 years now.
Same with my piano, the fact that I had nothing else to sit on aside from my piano stool when working meant that I choosing to sit on it for hours after work was an absolute no no, I sold the piano about 2 years ago now, I've gotta be honest, I really miss it now.
On the flip side though, I found my guitar was great for taking a little 5 or 10 minute break from my keyboard and my passion for that has kicked back in tenfold, I used to play for probably half an hour a week but now I play for hours every day.

I had my bonus come through from work so there was only one thing for it....new guitar.
I've always wanted a Gibson Les Paul and thought I'd finally pull the trigger on it, got to the shop and spent about an hour playing it trying to convince myself that it was worth the money but man, I was completely uninspired, I decided to go home and play my 2021 Epi Les Paul and see if I regretted not buying it, I absolutely did not, my battered old Epi plays fantastic, sounds good and what's more is that its mine, I've had it now for 23 years and I know every single inch of that guitar, if I bought the Gibson I would have ended up selling the Epi and I would never have been able to replace it.
Anyways, knowing that I had that money sitting in the bank was doing my head in (money went into my account at 11pm yesterday) by 1pm I was fully aware that I had all this money sitting around doing nothing for over 12 hours so I pulled the trigger on a Gretsch G5662t, I've always wanted a hollow bodied guitar and a bigsby (I know that most people aren't fans of them) and it cost me nearly a grand less than the Gibson would have.
So all in all, I've got this wonderful beast arriving tomorrow, the Gretsch G5662t in Cadillac green...I've also ordered a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles strap to go on it.

If it was put on the kit and they said "we've done this to celebrate the last and only England team to win anything by using the colours from an old training kit" or whatever, then I don't think anyone would have batted an eyelid.
I think the thing that has got everyone's backs up is the poorly worded "playful approach aimed to 'unite and inspire' the nation" some people find the suggestion that the standard England flag isn't "uniting and inspiring" offensive and then you have the other people who believe that there is an agenda behind everything and that there is some subliminal "pride" messaging going on.
I for one couldn't give a shite about it, I haven't bought an England shirt since 1998 and I haven't barely watched any England games in years so they could play in a kit with Barney the Dinosaur wearing a pink tutu on the sleeve and it wouldn't bother me, my interest in England pretty much stops at checking if any of our players might have got injured during a game (if they play)

Toney has scored 4 and assisted 0 in his 10 games back.
In Watkin's last 10 league games he's scored 7 and assisted 2, and has continued that form for a lot longer because he's not a betting cheat.
So they're pretty much neck and neck.
Really? you must think highly of Gary Southgate if you think that puts them neck and neck, Toney is clearly way out ahead.

This hasn't hurt as much as some of the results this season, I feel like we've been waiting to cop a twatting off someone for a while.
Squad not big enough
Fewest players used in the league this season
Too many average players in the squad (not having a pop at them but its true)
Hit with injuries
Going deep in two competitions
we've had a good run, but I can see us taking a few bad losses now, just gotta hope that Man Utd stay shitter than us lol.

Everton point deduction has everyone shit scared.
Will be an interesting summer
That's just the thing, it won't be interesting at all because everyone will be too scared to spend any money...well, one team obviously won't be bothered by something as simple as FFP and we all know who they are so there isn't any point in concerning ourselves with them.

Absolutely knackered, wouldn't be surprised if we don't pick up any points in the remaining 2 games, that ain't a knock on the players or the manager, they've been fantastic all season but they are just out on their feet now.
