i dont know if this has been asked already but I have been saving up and although im moving back to the USA general i want to buy a Season Ticket for next season, how early before next season can I get one? I always find it is a pain to buy individual match tickets so I think this might mean i can get better seats too. I usually bring a friend with me; a different one each time so can I get 2 season tickets under my name? or do they need to be under two different names? also do they send out Season ticket passes to the USA or do I need to provide a UK address?

General I have to say although i know you are joking, i'll pretend you are not :-P but I do want to say that you are quite simply the BEST thing to EVER happen to Villa in the years I have supported them, even more so than Randy or MON, I love that you talk to the Fans and take on views, we're truly lucky to have you. *checks his email in case that wasn't a joke :-D*

General IM Elated at the news about Martin Laursen signing, moreso because hes on the back of my top lol but CONGRATS! you get tons of praise for this, imagine the praise when we get a new player in too :-P

General I must say thank you I got the information about the bricks :-) though he delegated to someone who delegated to someone else. Just wanted to say (In case I hadn't before) that Randy's take over has worked wonders and after reading the Carew article I am thoroughly impressed by the work done by Villa players; I work with kids and my best friend works for Give Kids the world, these moments before a child dies can make such a difference and bring a huge smile to their faces, I dont know who started this partnership with the charity but please thank them for me :-) Question about the Browns, if you could magically make 2 players appear on their roster for next season who would they be (Money and circumstances aside). Thats a really good point general the team getting into Europe is the priority at the moment, maybe a system where you could return your seat, get a code which entitles you to priority book a ticket for a game 2 days after the season ticket holders have rights to tickets as compensation? the money stays with the club, the fan sees a game they want (paying more if the ticket costs more for the other game). General someone made the point about Seat Exchange, I think people should be allowed to say its my ticket this is the price I want to sell it for, i mean some people would be happy to see a Villa fan get to the game and sell it for £10, I've given my spares away at the matches to random fans I met to encourage them to come and they went in the store and bought a top etc. Could that be implemented? it would encourage fans to buy from the site too rather than touts who might sell on fake tickets. About touts: At the O2 in London its private land from the train station to the grounds leading upto the dome and inside; thus illegal to tout/"scalp" on private property, Are the car parks behind the holte and the area behind the north stand considered private areas? i get hassled by touts and that really bugs me, one followed me at the last Man Utd game begging to get my tickets to sell. I didnt want a tout having my spare hence gave it to a fan waiting in the queue for free (The girl who bought the top etc) can anything be done about them? at least get them off onto the streets

UlsterVilla its a huge shame but i had that problem as i lived in philly and flew out for games and its infuriating wasting hotel money, travel too both in the uk and to/from the uk but the general also lost money due to changes in dates. General could you perhaps come to an agreement with Sky about not changing a fixture if its only a month away? a months grace might help everyone plan their travel and not lose out on so much cash :-) I blew $2000 on wasted travel and accommodation last year Fantastic PR from Villa Im a huge Fan of Tom Hanks General and im ever so glad Villa took some initiative... Prince William might as well be sent something to show off too that would get even more coverage!

General I noticed a lot of people are talking about the Martin Laursen and Olly Mellberg situations, I was wondering if the club might be a little too friendly to players, I say this as we allowed Juan Angel to go on a free to ease his wages, but perhaps could have got a fee... Anyway my thought was could we not sign both to a lucrative deal, 3 year contracts for 50k a week and sell both of them in the summer, we get them till the summer and they get their moves then not knowing we intend to sell them then and can use the funds to replace them? Its something I tend to do on Video Games lol

General I want a brick at VP, how do I get one done? how much is it? also I remember as a kid that people could sponsor their favourite player for say £250 a year and have their name as sponsor of the player in the programmes; I just realised I buy them and never read them, i just like collecting from games I see. Do villa do such a thing? if so how much is it to sponsor someone?

With regards to the Cup game tickets I think the Season Ticket holders should get a substantial discount on their tickets for Europe and Cup games, with games appearing live on Telly too, we should push for a sell out, looks better for TV, surely the TV money helps us subsidise this? and its more of an incentive to have a season ticket? anyway my question to the General is Newcastle have a 100% Season Ticket holder arrangement. i.e. they dont sell match day tickets or very few if that. Would Villa consider doing this in the future if demand rises?

I agree the Prince and Future king should be made an honary fan and given the chance to come and see a game, something like the FA cup game against Man Utd could be wonderful publicity for us, granted he has a social calendar but if we go to Europe then he should be invited to a game or the final one of the season, that would be fantastic and the girls I bring would love it lol

General, is there a reason for why a Stadium tour can not take place on match day, like Start it at 10am end at 11:30 or whatever, surely enough time to get people out and kits moved into the changing rooms in time for a 5pm kick off on late kick off days? I can understand 3pm KO's cutting it close but im dieing to do the official stadium tour but its hard to get a day off work hence I take them to see a game, I dont wanna take another for a 1 hour tour you know?...

General I saw my first full game on tv yesterday. The game I saw was The Saints vs the Bears and you HAVE to go out and buy these players: Pierre Thomas, Drew Brees (He has a lightning bolt of a throw and good vision). i dont know anything about American Footy but yeah Randy needs those two lol If I fly out to see a Game of the browns is there any chance of getting a players top or helmet? as a memento?

General, about the Carew Transfer, did we approach Lyon for Carew and they asked for Milan in return, was it perhaps Vice Versa? or did we want Carew anyway?

General after yesterdays game I spoke to Chelsea fans on the train and they admitted we were the best team they have seen in a while there and that if we had been allowed to attack with 11 men we would have crushed them. Tremendous Performance! i took some of the kids i work with to see it and i put a bet on Laursen to Score so can you tell him I have 70 reasons to thank him now lol Great result there, but what's happening with the contracts for Bouma, Laursen? I'd hate to see either leave :-( Hope you had a merry christmas and got what you wanted from Santa this year :-P I think he skipped my wish of Anne Hathaway; i suppose there is always next year :-D

General I heard a rumour you went to a training session and setup a goal for Luke Moore, did you get to do any shooting? Oh and another thing, On Vital Villa we have a legendary fan called "Christo" who does Youtube videos, with the queen doing a Christmas Message would the club get Christo to do an inspirational New Years message for the fans for the Spurs game? or say a different fan for each game pre match? perhaps interviews with people in the crowd (I never get there for pre match entertainment so im not sure if this is done already) General would the club ever look into having a Director of Football; someone to perhaps liaise with the Scouts, get a list of possibles for MON to give the nod on and then leave the DOF to negotiate terms etc. Reason I ask is MON is undoubtably the No1 Motivator, a great coach, a DOF would mean he could concentrate solely on playing matters during the season, the christmas period is tiring with 6 games in 14 days and he wont have the time to negotiate for players AND prepare the first team for games, surely such a position might be useful? if you got one from abroad they would have links to players and clubs abroad which leads into the feeder club situation we mentioned earlier in the posts...

General how do clubs arrive at the figure of the transfer fee? we always buy high and sell low and I wondered roughly how valuations of players are made? this is not a dig btw I am genuinely asking how we agree say 8m upfront for Young and Extra Add ons and so forth and does the club have a list of all the players that are potentially out of contract come this summer?

The stands were there before the screens and there are black spots around the ground. Can't see what you expect the General to do about this?? Make consideration for this issue if any further development occurs? perhaps install screens on the roof of a blind spot for us to look at I dont know, if I did I would have made a suggestion, maybe he knows...

General will Villa have feeder clubs abroad? this would allow us to buy young talent from South America/NON EU places loan them out to get their EU passport and then enter the Villa Youths to bypass passport laws; other clubs implement this and also send out fringe players for more games, it would allow you to blood the youths in reserve games whilst giving the bench warmers a chance to play elsewhere too

General i was sitting at the top of the Trinity and can see neither screens, the sighting is poor there for replays or anything

General I recently wrote to Martin O'Neill and wondered does he in fact read his own mail? or does someone else vet them all? I was really hoping he would read them himself but I guess he must get a fair bit of mail?
