I was wondering if you could tell me who to contact regarding Villa's participation in the Kickz program. Im just about to graduate and im looking to volunteer for work placements to gain more experiance and improve my CV

Ill go the same as almost everyone else and say Palace, but more specifically Warnock. They're in good form and Warnock has the no how and motivation techniques or the play offs imo

You see so many ppl there with digital cameras i want to smah them!! thye seem to me the perfect example of heartless and soulless club, i know football these days is a buissness but i just cant stand them, they lack a culture and personality to me.

well my best tip is to buy pork chops, cheap and easy. Before cooking snip the spine of fat along the side into seperate little cubes (but still attached!) and rub into the fat a good pinch of salt this way when it cooks it wont pull on and mis shape the meat causing un even cooking. The pan fry for a few minutes either side then stand up on the fat for the final few minutes. it will give off a load of fat and flavour the meat and provide very tatsty fat!

I will graduate in the next couple of months and will be conducting a placement with WBA again and would love to arrange a placement at villa to add to my experiance and gain more insight into working with the community.

hi General this question may seem a little strange and im not trying to criticise i hope you understand

im a public policy student about to graduate from Birmingham University. I have a keen interest in community engagement stratergies and how large organisations may improve the lives of citizens for both parties benefits and connect with those the state may fail to help.Ii about to undertake a placement i have arranged with WBA fc looking at how they do this. They have one of the largest community outreach programmes in the whole of european football. Not bad for a championship side. They spend a great deal of time and money helping educate local children through football activites mixed with education and life skills, with participation usually tied to school attendance. The FA recognise and often promote the activities of WBA as one of the most caring and effective football clubs around.

Now getting to my question, when attempting to arrange placements for myself i couldnt find any sort of programs through villa except for the villa rockets, (wheel chair side).

Are there structures in place andhave i missed them?

Who could i contact regarding work placemets/ experiance?

or are there any plans to utilise the name and reputation of aston villa?

The involvment of Aston Villa within the community could have great benefits for local people. I understadnd it is a buisness but these programmes can help bind potential fans to the club, and also offer the chance of spotting potential players of the future

Aston Villa is more than a football club, it is an institution that has incredible effects on those who come in contact with it and could be at the centre of a new positive birmingham and culture.
