I've seen him in u18s, on loan, in the u21s/u23s and the first team. That is what I base my opinion on, like it or lump it!

I'd agree on this, he did well on loan last season but I haven't seen anything that suggests he will go on to play regularly at a higher level. We shall see.

Lammy is definitely a midfielder played at Centre half to learn the game and toughen up, fabulous ability and a great chance to follow a similar path to Tim Iroegbunam. He really needs to pull his shorts up though, come and watch the rags down at Bodymoor and you'll see what I mean.

Not sure if it is these lads who will play against Nuneaton in the Birmingham Senior Cup next week.

Really poor tonight, Brentford didn't do much but we gave them the first 2 goals. Lots of possession, not much threat, Young decent early on, O'Reilly did OK particularly when Rowe came on and took the game by the scruff of the neck.

There are several who have no business being at this level.

Danks is here, Jedinak has brought his magnificent beard and the Moore brothers are in to hopefully see Kobei's first goal at this level.

He went off injured on Friday after grimacing and limping his way through the game initially getting injured in the warm up. He also went off at half time the Friday before.

To be fair there aren't many options as you have to start delving into the young lads (Moore, Lutz, Kellyman, Wilson) two of which are on the bench anyway. Makes sense for all I would suggest, but perhaps not so much if Shakpoke is fit.

Annoying that the Derby game has been moved, I doubt Derby will provide access to their training ground on Saturday lunchtime.

Absolutely as above, they hide behind safeguarding (although that is a relevant point) but reality is keeping the Vultures away.

When I was at Villa it was definitely like that although as with most things people try to find a way around it......

Kobei's movement is really good, looks a prospect. I thought O'Reilly had a decent game tonight, he's not my cup of tea though.

Kadan Young was incredible in 3 or 4 short bursts but did little else, he had to be talked through the game by the coaching team. Strange really, he didn't seem to have the heart for it, they had to keep telling him to get up or chase the ball.

Omari Kellyman is a big lad, not involved tonight but he was there with several of the other lads. One I am looking forward to seeing in action.

Fred at this level is brilliant, actually a good measure of where some of these players are really at......the answer? Way off it.
