  1. Spicy Salami Eggs - The hangover breakfast

    Serves 1

Cut 4 slices of Danish Salami up. Fry them in a little oil for about 2-3mins until you cook off the fat then drain and put to one side.

Scramble 2 Eggs in a bit of butter/marg and milk and also add a sprinkle of sea salt. Add 3 or 4 chopped red jalapeno pepper slices to the mix( 3 or 4 circular slices not whole peppers I should clarify - phew! you can buy them in a jar from all shit supermarkets)

Just before Eggs scramble, chuck the salami back in for about 20 secs then serve on toast accompanied with a good cup of coffee and a bit of shit sunday morning t.v (although, Karl Pilkington on Something for the weekend was actually quite good)

    Done.

  2. ****, I've just realised how important a role Barry plays at this club. I was flicking through some old highlights of us on youtube such as: Villa v Inter Milan and Villa v Columbus Crew, and Barry is behind nearly everything in all the goals! If he stays I will be glad. Let's turn down the offer.

  3. i would define the Classes as:

    1) Underclass - doesn't work, and doesn't want to work. Lives off benefits or crime.

    2) Working Class - standard job, went to comprehensive school.

    3) Middle Class - professional job, decent income, owns house. went to private school, or good comp school.

    4) Upper Class - doesn't need to work for a living, as has enough money. Went to private school obviously.

I would define your list as very subjective.

    For example:

I am currently claiming benefits due to disability but also, have enough money to live off thanks to inheritance and gambling ( I won £500,000) but don't tell the gov! I sell weed in my suburban area to middle class folk who like to dabble now and then whilst swigging a few bottles of chateauneuf du pape (1994). I went to a good comprehensive school. I own my own house.

    ...What am I?

  4. A bit off topic but it looks like Woods was injured before the US Open and did himself some serious damage during the tournament:

Injured Woods out for the season

US Open champion Tiger Woods will miss the rest of the season to undergo surgery on his injured left knee.

That means Woods is ruled out of the Open at Royal Birkdale, Ryder Cup and USPGA Championship.

"It was important to me that I disclose my condition publicly at an appropriate time," Woods said on his website.

"Now, it is clear that the right thing to do is listen to my doctors, follow though with this surgery, and focus my attention on rehabilitating my knee."

The website also stated that Woods needed time to recover from a fracture of the left tibia in his leg which were "attributed to Woods' intense rehabilitation and preparations for the US Open".

    More to follow.

Yeh, just noticed that. My odds on Michelson winning the open chamionship have just gained 10 points in my favour. Could collect some winnings now!

  5. Can we have a 'one can't compare them as they're from different eras' option, please? :D

Hmm...no, but I will add a 'They would tie and force an 18 hole play off the next day' option of you like. :winkold:

  6. Nicklaus every time for me. Especially if it was matchplay.

Technology these days helps Tiger far too much. I mean I hit my dirver a good 40 yards further now than when I was far younger and fitter.

Give them both the same technology and an even playing field, I still think Tiger would win. Of course, perhaps we need to take 'which course'? into consideration :winkold:

  7. In light of the recent events - Tiger's B game beating everyone else's A game, let's ask the big question in golf:

Who would win in a game between Tiger and Nicklaus, both playing at their best...?

I'm gonna suggest that Tiger, providing he doesn't get seriously injured, is gonna smash Nicklaus' major record within 10 years. So I would have to say that Tiger is the best player the world has seen.

  8. This front page article is in poor taste I think. Especially as there is a chance that Barry might be priced out of the market.

Then he should have thought of that before getting his agent to speak to the press. Can you really see him playing for Villa again? I dont think he possibly can, given MON's attitude towards, for example, Patrik Berger.

You are either 100% Villa or you are out the door under this manager. So seeya Gareth.

Gareth Barry has been '100% Villa' for ten years.

  9. Pesto Donaldinho

    Pasta, preferrably fusili

    1 Onion, chopped

10 Pork or Turkey Fankfurters, decent German ones

1 Jar of Sundried Tomato or Red Pesto

    1 Tin of Coconut milk

1 handfull of Wallnuts or Pecans (optional)

    Olive Oil

Cook the pasta. Cut the Frankfurters down the middle lenghtways, then once again to quater now chop horizontaly about 8 times, you are left with roughly 35 or so small pieces per sausage. Saute/fry the sausage, nuts and onion in Olive oil on high until the onion starts to caramelise but before the sausage or nuts burn. Chuck in the Pesto and the can of Coconut Milk and simmer for 20 minutes. Now drop the Pasta on top of the creamy pink goodness turn off the heat and mix it all up. Serve in a bowl to be eaten in front of the telly.

Be sure to try the leftovers after a heavy night out, not only is it a fantastic boozy snack but it may well cure the hangover before it starts. No promises but some of my mates used to swear by it and wouldn't go home on a Saturday until they had been by my flat to take their dose.

I've tried dozens of combinations, different meats, veg, cream etc. Nothing even compares to frankfurters, onion, red pesto and coconut milk. It's like the flaming Homer, on paper it makes no sense but when prepared is phenominal.

    Hey man.

As crazy as it sounds I tried your dish because it sounded interesting, and I do love pesto. Well, I cooked it for myself 3 other housemates and everyone loved it! It was a lovely creamy delight. Cost £11 to make it for 4 people mind but I look forward to leftovers in the morn. Nice one!

  10. This one i picked up from Ainsley. It's simple, quick, tasty and inexpensive:

Potatoe Salad with mint and mustard sauce

Cook boiled small baby pots for 15 mins or whatever

drain and cool them under cold water (halve the pots after cooking)

(the last few mins of pots cooking, throw the green beans or mangetout into boiling water (about 3 mins)

slice up some spring onions, green beans or/and mangetout. Maybe some fresh chopped peppers as well as an added extra.

Cut up slices of garlic sausage meat/salami and add to the salad of potatoes, spring onions and green beans/mangetout

    For the Dressing

    Mix:

    3 tablespoons olive oil

    1 Tablespoon of wine vinegar

1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint or dried if not.

2 teaspoons of mustard. Grainy mustard above Dijon is prefered.

    Bit of salt and pepper

    then away you go!

  11. This has probably been mentioned before but i seriously think the 'my old man...' chant should be updated. It doesn't make sense to keep singing it, we gotta move with the times. It's easily enough done. Something like:

'...With Marlon and Gabby, Ashley Young and Barry! They're the boys...' and so on.

    what dou you think?

  12. I have been boycotting all coca-cola for the last 5 years. The only time I have had some of their product is when I have drunkenly had a whisky and coke out on the piss...I think that is why I am always ill the next day ;)

They have blood on their hands - they exploit children and poor families who get small wages and long hours - these people can't rely on the unions becuase union members get killed - they destroy the environment and habitats - they prevent a self-sufficient economy - they put local businesses out of buisiness..........ENJOY!
