I don't read because I once read a book that made me physically sick. Ever since then I havn't been able to read again. I find people who read are generally very aloof and most of them are probably upper-class or landed gentry. The only time you will catch me read nowadays is to read about something bad that has happened to someone who reads.

To emphasize my point:

My mother sent gave me a book the christmas before last, a Ben Elton book. I didn't want to be rude and tell her - I dont read, what's the point in reading! So I waited until her birthday a few months later in march and I sent it back to her with an inscription: 'Sorry, I don't read, there's no point, but I know you do so hopefully you'll appreciate it, lots of love, xliosive x'

She found it sweet and read it and enjoyed it. Each to their own I guess but I certainly don't have that gene, thank god.

NO THANKS! Books are for idiots. What's the point in reading Stephen King's IT if you can watch Stephen King's IT? Why read the Bible if we have 'The life of Brian' and/or 'The passion of the Christ'? What's the point in reading?

It's not a joke but an amusing comment I came across on a martial arts mesage board:

I really want to see it but my computer has automaticaly began to block spoon related images. Probably due to the nonsense that it has already seen; it has just said - no! no more!

I was thinking this, and with Barry totally out of form I'd be tempted to stick Hendrie on the left, but he'd be lost out there I think. Barry needs to be taken out of the team for a while as he is clearly the recent weak link, and Hitz hasn't been much worse - I'd like to see Berson put in for him if fit.....

I'd go for:

Whittingham/Davis Berson/Hendrie McCann Solano

...worrying, to say the least.
