  1. Randy will be lucky to get £50 million for this club. Dropping down a division is going to hit him hard but what will he do? Will he drop his asking price or wait until the club ends up in administration because the club can't self sustain ( and im sure the rules Championship and lower are strict on that)

  2. Maybe if they make him train with the under 12s it might prick his concience.

To be honest i don't think he would give a crap if he was told to make the tea or be the boot boy, he is picking up £630000 A WEEK! It would take me 3 years to pick his weekly wage up! In effect he is stealing a living!

  3. I'd be genuinely surprised if we finish among the Top-10 in the Championship next season, as I suspect the few quality players we do have will be sold off and the money spent on players in will be a symbolic sum at best.

I really don't think any money generated will be put back into strengthening the squad. They ( the board ) want the academy to be used so any gems we have can be sold at a later date. So for the next few years it is going to be tough going. I expect a bottom 7 finish in the Championship next season. At best that is!

  4. If he quit i would not hold it against him! He can't do anymore with this squad. The board have made their mind up and think spending won't help us as we are going down anyway! Total defeatist attitude to have and if i was a manager i think i would walk whats the point!? If the board have given up then what hope do you have!?

  5.

    Yes.

In comparison to top of the table Leicester:

A confident Guzan is as good as Schmeichel.

Okore and Clark at their best are better than Morgan and Huth.

Bacuna and Amavi are better than anything Leicester have at RB or LB.

Kante is a solid defensive midfielder and better than what we have. Although Gueye isn't too far behind.

    Drinkwater and Westwood are comparable.

I'd have Albrighton before Ayew although most here will disagree.

Gil is underrated and the most creative player in both squads.

Traore can be as dangerous or more dangerous than Mahrez.

    Kozak is better than Ulloa.

A fit and motivated Agbonlahor I would have ahead of Okazaki.

Vardy is by far the best striker in both squads.

I think we compare favorably and would compare even more favorably to Bournemouth, West Brom and Sunderland.

Have you been in my medication draw?!

  6. Wasn't Tom Fox telling us all about his fantastic scouting system put in place with Paddy Reilly? That they were there in case the manager identified players but needed alternatives. I'm sure they can kick in now and find someone else.

Tim fox aka Billy Bull $hitter! I don't believe a word that comes out that blokes mouth! He could fertilise farmers fields for a couple of years with his bs!

  7. Words cannot describe how much i don't like this word removed! He is an awful business man and he is slowing killing this once great club!

I hope he goes bankrupt! He calls himself a fan? If he was he would be doing his upmost to keep us in the League!

  8. Maybe this Kalinic bid was always a non starter? It was the boards way of saying "look we tried to sign players"

Remember Dempsey we bid for him and there was no chance of that happening. But it was a way of the board saying look we do have funds but the player did not want to come.

So now we have 1 day left (Monday) to sign players. The board have got to get the head out of Randys ass and get some players in, because next season is going to be tough and if this is the boards new philosophy then us as fans may as well start our own bloody club because there is only one way this is going to end!

  9. Amazed Pompey-Bournemouth isn't on the tele, again surely that sort of tie is what the cup is about, Pompey won it more recently than Liverpool aswell!

Probably the most extreme of reversals tie aswell, 2008 Pompey cup winners and top 8 in the premier league and Bournemouth were fighting to stay in the football league and now it's flipped.

I think its because they ( tv cheifs) have it in their head that everyone want to see Liverpool be successful! I could not care less about the club i think i hate them more then small heath! Liverpool win a few games and its their year....

I agree with you Pompey vs Bournemouth would have been a great tie for TV a complete reversal of fortunes!

  10. Looks like we're going to get Doumbia on loan with automatic permanent transfer if we stay up

He will go to Newcastle as they are interested too. Unless its a free loan i cant see anything happening! Really have lost all trust with this board! Worried for the future of this once great club!

  12. SOME NEWS! !!

Gabriel Agbonlahor is close to joining Turkish club Kayserispori

    Daily mail.

Sorry can't seem to do a link.

Will the last player to leave Villa park please turn the lights off because Randy does not want a big electric bill......

Yeah so another player is close to the exit! What about inbound players? Looks like the new chairman WAS bought in to start the cost cutting ready for the Championship. The idiot is soon going to realise come the end of the season when the rest of the players want to leave coming back up won't be easy unless we spend.

He is very ill informed of how tough the Championship is if he thinks we can come back up by not spending and relying on our academy.

  13. I will be glad when this window shuts! Same **** different day! All the teams round us spending money. While the muppets on our board have got the white flags out and the fat lady singing regarding our premier league status!

We need a striker even Stevie Wonder can see that! Here we are on day 28 and deadwood is been cleared but where are the fresh faces?

"Oh we tried but January is always tough to bring players in"

    Or

"We went in for several players but they decided to go to other clubs"

May as well get Kermit the frog and his pals on the board because we are run like a bunch of muppets so may as well have the real deal!

  14. I wouldn't renew anyone's contract (for those up in the summer) and I would allow anyone who wants to go to leave, provided we get a sensible bid.

We need to completely rebuild now, no patch jobs, I can accept a season or two in the wilderness if we can put the club back on to a course and platform which will benefit us for decades to come.

Problem is we could have a massive clearout and generate £20-£25 million. But we would not see that reinvested in the squad. Randy want his money back. That is what we have a bean counter here! What will happen is Remi( if he hasn't walked) will be told to start using the youth players. If some of them are any good they will be sold. This is the bright future this club has!

  15. Sunderland offering Swansea 10m plus Borini for Andre Ayew.

Surely we could do 8m plus Nzogbia and/or Gabby?!

10m plus Sinclair. I reckon they might take that.

We wouldn't offer 10p. The board have said spending big money doesn't but success, the white flag is waving. I worry this board will get us relegated from the Championship with their "plan"

  16. Wanted

Goalkeeper needed for a struggling team. Must be able to save the ball and not flap about at crosses like someone who is having a fit. Been able to kick the ball to a team mate would be a bonus.

Must be willing to work for peanuts ( unless your allergic ) and if things don't work out be expected to be called a waste of money.

There we go lets get that stuck in the express and star lol!
