  1. Aston Villa fans have once again been conspicuous by their absence, deserting the club this season during the relegation struggle

They should get the facts right, fans cannot be bothered going to watch 11 people walking around the pitch half arsed. They have better ways to spend their hard earned cash!! Tough choice really spend £70+(ticket food drink and transport) to watch 11 men getting **** on the pitch or spending that money on my family going out for the day?

  2. The more I think about it I would take Pearson right now if it meant that he started straightaway and worked with the current squad until the end of the season.  As much as I'd want 90% of this squad gone in the summer, it's probably not realistic and someone needs to work out quickly who's worth keeping/working with and who should go.  The thought of waiting for a manager until the summer and then they assess the squad during pre-season fills me with dread.   Big rebuilding job required and I want a manager to realise this quickly.

90% of this squad won't be here regardless! The likes of Richards and Bacuna are already looking for pastures new. If i never saw Lescott in a Villa shirt again i would be happy! Flabby has played his last game for us and i expect flappy the goalkeeper to be on his way back to the USA. Most of our summer signings will probably leave due to release clauses etc. So we don't need a word removed like Pearson as our manager to kick ass (not that the rocket polishers would listen to him anyway). We have some good youth that could be used along with some experienced players that can roll their sleeves up and be leaders! Pearson fills me with dread. He is not what this club needs right now.

  3. If i refused to to my job i would be sacked on the spot! But this word removed gets to train with the U21s and pick up he pay packet? Utter disgrace! There might be a reason behind it but you don't throw all your toys out the pram if things don't go your way and expect sympathy.

He is suppose to be a professional footballer. Yes I would be annoyed if in was in his shoes and the chuckle brothers kept getting picked over me but i would carry on with my job.

  4. Well if that is the attitude we are taking as a club, we might as well pack it in now to be honest.

Well lets be honest for a moment. We had had an awful season and most of these players had relegation release clauses in their contracts. They don't deserve to go as they have put us in this mess, but we need funds and Ayew is probably one of the few we will be able to sell.

  5. Problem is he wants to sell but the asking price is too much. Ok i buy a house for 200k pump 50k into making it look nice and then leave it to rot for 6 years. Decide to sell for 200k while it looks like a sack of crap, i am not going to sell it am i! You just have to cut your loses im afraid. If he wants 150M for villa he is going to be waiting a long time. Its better to just take the hit in the pocket.

Hollis in extensive negotiations to sell the club SSN

They will say that and gullible fools will buy season tickets thinking we will have a new owner and cash will be splashed. The reality will be another year of crap with Lerner steering us into league 1!
