What a gesture, giving away something that doesn't belong to him presumably because he was too warm
There's medication available for this level of depression mate.

I'm not sure its much to do with klopp. Liverpool have very little depth, it's been the same there for a long time. City and Arsenal have much better depth.
Their depth is the youth players. That's the point @MWARLEY2 is making.

Ok, so in 3 seasons time do you plan to not be in CL or for VP to not be a fortress?
Because we might be in an exactly the same situation as now.
This is it.
We're seemingly kicking the can down the road to be, potentially, in the exact same situation in five years that we are now.
It's maddening.

Calvert Lewin just been sent off, so assume he's MIA for our game.

Only watched for 5 mins of it, weird quiet match and stadium, feels like players and fans would prefer to stay home instead of being there
This is how Villa Park felt v Burnley.

Not sure I agree. I think there is something off about the whole Duran thing. You could be right, of course.
His infected toe.

Wait, does this mean we have to feel rattled again?

I'd say having it in your own hands and cocking it up is bottling.
Against a team who spent over a billion pounds and has (potentially) cheated to the tune of 115 charges against them?
"Bottling" is probably the term I detest most in football. We are overacheiving, if we finish sixth, the players and coach will be accused of "bottling it", which is absolute nonsense, but will be spun as fact.

You've started 2024 in rip roaring fashion, Sir.

I want five points. Undefeated is key for momentum.

Talk on the match thread of fragile player mentality.
We really need to work on fan mentality.
First bit of bad form in a year, sitting joint top of the table.
Fans are fragile as f***.
Such a brilliant post.

Over the last 6 games, including this Christmas-New Year ‘slump’, we have four wins, a draw and a loss. That’s better than City, Arsenal and Spurs - just for comparison. Liverpool have gained a point on us. An ok December for my money.
Perspective, wonderful, isn't it?

Incredibly flat atmosphere today.
We were in the North Stand but normally in the Holte and it was awful. Expectancy? Nervous? Christmas fatigue? Not sure the reason but we absolutely were not the 12th man today.

If there was a competition for most woeful comment of the year, that one would win the gold.

Looks like we sold the wrong brother, JJ played rubbish again and missed the easiest chance.
But I sad prematch I'd take a poor game for a win and we got it, UTV
This is so far beyond laughable, there isn't an emoji that suffices.

Result matters. Defence wasn't right today, and despite getting one, Diaby couldn't hit the backside of a cow with a banjo.
Bit of time now to get the team back in line with the system and get injuries back to squad. FA Cup a free hit for me.
Every season is going to have dips in form - we put everything into beating City/ Arsenal and things have dipped since then. Emery will get them back in shape.
Apart from him scoring, I assume?

It’s on the person that created the situation in the first place. Extremely poor communication from the club led to frustrations that boiled over in the stands.
Poor communication is something that seems to be a constant with Mr Heck…..
It's Chris Heck's a small number of morons directed abuse at fellow Villa fans?
This is where arguments fall to pieces.

Can’t see Emery going with the formation or team below, but I would mix it up a bit and have our FB’s pushing up wide:
Martinez
Konsa Carlos Lenglet
Cash Moreno
McGinn Luiz
Zaniolo
Bailey Watkins
Subs: Marshall, Proctor, Chambers, Pau, Dendoncker, Iroegbunam, Ramsey, Diaby, Duran
3-1 win and finishing the year on a high. UTV
Three central defenders against Burnley?
Sweet jesus.

Perhaps the lovers of melodrama, "our back up players are wank" and "the fans need a boost" types, will see tonight's results and accept most teams are inconsistent, have disparity in quality when players are out and need to calm the **** down.
