Its all well and good saying we should be buying top quality for millions but if the clubs dont want to sell and the players dont want to come then you have to go for lesser players that will push us into a position of being able to attract the top quality players. I'll fully support who MON brings in and wont jump on Randys back if its not the top quality we are all hoping for. That WILL come eventually.

I wouldnt mind Xavier and Ferguson TBH. Even if we got just those 2 untill the summer we could play:

I agree it does look solid, but where are the goals going to come from?

The front 3 did well enough in the first part of the season. Will be good enough unitll the summer when we can get REAL quality in.

I remember Louis Saha going to United for around 12m and he was kind of the same type of player, playing good for a shitty club like Fulham. As well as Yorke. Didn't he leave for 12M? I think Darren Bent was better than Saha, and probably better than Yorke when he left us. It was when playing for United he really became a world-beater. Darren Bent is going to be sold for everything between 9M and 15M, depends on who and how many that is bidding for his services.

No way is Bent better than Dwight Yorke was when he was with us.
