15m is the going rate for a forward these days. If he can score 20 goals in an ordinary Bristol City side, he'll score plenty for us, the problem is lack of service.

The good old lack of service excuse, it's been used on here since the JPA days, (probably before)

  2. He's supposed to be the assistant manager, assisting the manager in training, personnel recruitment, tactics, motivation etc.

Now let's say that he is doing all those things to the best of his ability (and we are quite crap) then why would anyone even think about him taking over as manager when he obviously can't even assist a manager in the first place!

    He hasn't failed the medical.

Even if he had it wouldn't mean he isn't fit to play. Players 'fail' medicals and clubs pull out of transfers because they aren't prepared to sign players with underlying injuries not because they aren't fit to play football often other clubs are prepared to take the risk. Some recent examples are Ba, Boyd and Austin.

Anyway this didn't happen with Lescott.

I did put "if" at he start

i was just looking for another angle to remove the Klingon from our club.

  4. if he's failed a medical then that would mean he isn't fit/able to play professionally anymore (most would say they knew that over a year ago)

what's the possibility of claiming on the insurance and getting rid of him that way?

Of course, but it might appeal to that part of the people who get to vote in their leadership thing, who, y'know, aren't racist ;), they just have y'know "worries" about immigration.

She would never actually do it. That's not the point. It's not even a negotiating hand, as you say.

Are you implying that anyone who worries about immigration is a racist?

    massive generalisation if you are!

You're right, the euro is never going to happen now.

no one mentioned the minimum wage, unskilled migrants driving wages down, ie jobs which were above minimum wage are now heading in that direction, why pay a brit £10ph when an immigrant will do it for £7.50

Boris is an opportunist, Cameron is a puppet for Obama.

perhaps Cameron should of commissioned a leave plan on the off chance the vote didn't go his way.

I will check out your professor.

(is he in the pay of the EU?)

don't understand "tin foil hat", I'd suggest a nappy for when your eyes open to the EU you will soil yourself.

I can see living in Telford that you're dreams never came true either. ;)

And I agree, the younger people should have had a higher turnout.  That's their ignorance, stupidity, decision.  The people from that group moaning about the result can't really moan now.

    touché on Telford x

Well they clearly did fall for lies because the Leave campaign have backtracked on nearly everything since Thursday.

why just pick that line, do you honestly think that if remain won we wouldn't of been drawn further into the quagmire, have the euro forced upon us, more and more unskilled immigrants driving the wages down further, or did you believe everything remain said.

ask yourself why cameron was a leaver before obama came over and told him what to do?

where is the emergency budget that would punish us all straight after the vote?

check out Dr Paul Craig Roberts.

your eyes will open to the truth of the EU american project.

Doesn't matter to me.  Sorry if it's upsetting you, the thought of mortality (although, it's only your mother in law ;)).

The result of the EU ref doesn't really matter in my belief, and I know it's seriously flawed thinking (some people die younger, some people live until 100) etc.  But to me, now, it doesn't seem very fair that this referendum has been decided purely because there are **** loads of baby boomers, not proportionally to younger generations anyway etc etc.

lapal fan, earlier on you were blaming a vote less than a week ago for a recession and the reason you couldn't get the job of your dreams (boo fookin hoo) and that in 10 years you've only had one pay rise, then you go on to say older ppl shouldn't of been allowed to vote, these are the same old people who stood up to fascism so you can spout the shit you are coming out with. Maybe all your woes are your own doing, if you thought remain was the way to vote maybe you should of done something to convince these old people who were lied to in 1975 and have watched their country turn to shit because of it to join you in the united europe that you obviously wanted, but you know what, these old **** are not racists, bigots etc, they are British. They fell for the lies once, they weren't going to do it again.

RIP Jo Cox.  Thoughts are with your family at this difficult time.  Having two very young children myself, I sometimes fear for their future and the world that they are being brought up in?

    Only sometimes?

the world is turning to shit, crazy bastards walk amongst us every day waiting for the spark to set them off, we are on the edge of something scarey and no one is doing anything to stop it.

    RIP Jo Cox.

1.8m = 5'9" which IMO is small for a centre half in the very physical Championship.

He has been promoted twice with Bournemouth so he has buckets of experience, I hope we get this one over the line.

I'm 1.79m which I know is 5 ft 10in, methinks you may be wrong!

So any gay blokes having a beer at Ascot is presumably the scum of the earth. Thats reasonable i suppose.

But f##cking a child is fine. Yup makes sense.

The Catholics probably agree with that as well. #lovereligion.

When you look at Rochdale/Rotherham (always get them mixed up) Telford and probably many more places then I think you can say that f##cking children is fine when you follow a medieval cult.

just looks like giggs is expecting to have a big job handed to him on a plate just because he was a loyal footballer.

You can't really say Giggs was a loyal footballer, a loyal footballer was someone like LeTissier, playing for a small club and turning down bigger clubs to stay there, for Giggs, being a top player at the biggest club of the time anywhere else would of been a step down for him, the loyalty was shown by Utd in keeping him.

Yep, I can see your point, and that's why it's not 'easy', but I've got no problem with Salmond

Salmond is a prick, he doesn't want to be part of a united kingdom, but has no problems wanting to be a part of a united states of europe.

someone wants to ask him about "FREEDOM" for the jocks now that the price of oil has gone through the floor.

Hmm. Chicken or egg? When Gabby gets the sort of vile, cowardly*, Internet warrior type of abuse he gets on here, can you imagine why he may not be massively motivated to put in a top effort for the club?

    * bet none of you guys would dare say this sort of stuff to his face.

    Can he read?
