What a 2nd leg that was.

It certainly was.  Could not be there but watched in the Cardiac Intensive Care unit at St George's hospital, with my father-in-law who had had a heart transplant 2 weeks earlier.  Not sure how he coped.

    RIP Dalian

But he also gave us Una Stubbs
And he also gave us Little and Large
And he also gave us Keith Harris
And he also gave us Wendy Craig
And he also gave us Thora Hird
And he also gave us Matthew Kelly
And he also gave us Eartha Kitt
And he also gave us Lionel Blair...

And of course he gave us the Len Ganley stance.

Because nobody comes to Aston apart from the match days.Preston had the national football museum but they had to close it as nobody went, and is now in the centre of Manchester.

Not sure that's true, I think it was mainly due to the Urbis Building needing a client and therefore Manchester Council paying a wedge to move the Football Musuem into that building.

They're a lovely dog and they can vary from very intelligent to thick as 2 short planks (which makes them hilarious) :)

BOF, you are not wrong, got another one at home, thankfully, who is 2 sandwiches short of a picnic.  He is getting a fair amount of attention at the moment and if I carry on he will be using Gabby as his body double, another treat don't mind if I do thank you.

Said goodbye, to this fella early Sunday morning, after 11 years.  The cancer took him finally, trying hard to remember the good times, and not be too sad.

Stephen Vaughan - was the first ever person to fail the football leagues fit and proper test.

And even that was only after being disqualified from acting as a director due to VAT fraud.  Interestingly, he could still hold 30% of the shares in the club, the over 70% went to his son.  Both of whom led colourful lives, before, during and after they had destroyed Chester City.

It's not been that long, I've been 'gone' for just as long in the past. I guess the more one misses someone the slower time seems to go.

But the wahey it's a joke thread is still awaiting your return.

Always quite liked him but not at the moment. I could see him at Everton one day.

So given his progressive talks with Rotherham, anybody thinking Alan Stubbs could be the man we want or need?

  9. Well now that the Foxes have sorted out top spot, surely MOTD will be focusing on the bottom of the EPO (sorry Premier League) and the beach balls and balloons should receive high profile from Walkers Boy before he puts his pants on.

  10. So disappointing to lose like that, our best result since 2009, and sitting in the West Stand the united fans were apoplectic when Martial ran it into the corner on 86 minutes.  The fans as always did us proud, a point echoed by the casual MUFC day trippers in the hotel afterwards.  Funniest part of the day was striking up a conversation with a gentleman from Worcester walking into the doom theatre who showed he his video of snow falling when he left, to which I said it's good to see you are still travelling and supporting the Villa which made him rather angry as he told me to f**k off and that we were shit.  Feckin clearing in the woods.
