  1. Nope, 'fraid not. We were offered drugs a few times while I was there by some dodgy characters and I've guessing there's a bit of pickpocketing etc that goes in in the medinas but if you are sensible you shouldn't have any problems. Most of the people we met there were very welcoming, to the extent that we kept in touch with one family even after we left.

  2. It was offside mate simple as that I don't begrudge Spurs the goal because I am sure we have had our share of dodgy goals, but come on mate I know you are a Spud but why defend everything?

I believe Andy Gray said Gallas said he touched it tonight before the game not sure if true or not.

I don't defend everything. If I believed the goal was genuinely illegal, I'd say as much. Makes no difference at all what my opinion of it is, if it's given then it's a goal. It's not as if the goal would be ruled out if I don't defend it blindly. The point is though, as has been mentioned numerous times now, is that the goal was legitimate in keeping with the stupid rules that are currently in place.

As a rather clever poster wrote earlier in the thread, the goal should stand, the rules should go.

And nobody finds it odd that Richard Keys makes that claim but there aren't any quotes whatsoever from Gallas in any of the vast amounts of media outlets? Did Gallas give Keys a private interview where Gallas incriminated himself? In which case, shouldn't the Premier League give the goal to Gallas and not Huddlestone? Hm.

It comes from Jamie Redknapp, he said he spoke to Gallas personally and he admitted it to him. No idea why Redknapp would make it up.

Not that it matters as it's offside within the rules anyway, how you can claim that it would not affect Schwarzer is beyond me.

  3. BBC WM (Which i Just caught the end of) laying into Downing and Ireland.

Not contributing? We'll forget he's our top scorer then.

Ridiculous, the reason we had Downing on the right was because he could provide the defensive cover we need with Cole on the overlap. He was disciplined and did his job well. For me it was a difficult game for Ireland to play that role, against weaker opposition I think we might see him making more runs into the box and seeing a bit more of the ball.

  4. Luckily we'll have a manager in with 33 games left who can hopefully address the problems we're having at the minute. Our bench leaves a lot to be desired to be honest but it's there for a reason. K-Mac gets a 5 from me today. Could have been so much better today.

Slightly worrying that the only CM on the bench was Hogg. Isn't Sidwell fit yet?

Wasn't Ireland on the bench? (Sorry i missed most of the match with work)

He was, but he's not really a CM is he? He should be playing behind Gabby.

I think he can play the position fine, although he's probably more effective further up the pitch. I'd certainly play him there before Hogg.
