Good game, better than our cup final. They mentioned during the commentary that each team got 40k tickets. English FA take note...
-
I'd be very surprised if he left before the World Cup. It could drive his price up even further if he has a good one, or put them off if he has a poor one, which is good either way. Would be ridiculous to sell him before.
-
It will be Milner and I'm not joking, should be an option.
This. I know everyone on here knows how good he is. But I think he's really going to surprise some people. If he isn't seen as one of the best 3 by the end of the World Cup I'll be surprised.
-
As much as I'd love to keep him and think he's vital to our team... every player has their price. There will be an amount of money that's more use to us than James Milner is, I'm not sure what it is, but there will be a sum that is.

This is (almost certainly) the first thread I've started that has reached over 100 pages.

Milner MOTM. I made a point of watching how far he ran today, I'd love to see the stats and see how it compares to other members of the team, the amount of ground he covered was ridiculous.
Poor performance but a win wouldn't have made a difference as it happened so doesn't really matter. Shame Bouma wasn't on the bench to come on when Warnock was injured.
Surprised how noisy the Blackburn fans were compared to normal. I suppose it's because it's the end of the season. They usually only bring about twelve of them.

Difficult decision if the alternative is David Cameron.

Running out of ballot papers? Is this Alabama?
nope
It's just that the country has become so piss poor under 13 years of Labour mismanagement
I know some people like to blame labour for everything (and I'm no fan) but I'm certain they're not allowed to run the election. There'd be a huge conflict of interest there. For a change, it's really not their fault.

Is it always done with pencils or is my polling station just rubbish? I can't remember from last time I voted. Just seems using a pen would make them far less vulnerable to tampering...

Ooh Glaston's back.
That's unexpected.

oh well good effort from the lads, **** warnock and his stupid challenge cost us this
no he didnt. we have been outplayed for 90 minutes.
We were 1 up and relatively comfortable until that stupid tackle.
-
Lame substitution
What do you suggest he does? He's put 2 strikers on, you can't ask for much more than that at this stage. I suppose we could have played 4 up front but that would have been a bit on the risky side.
-
Come on, we haven't lost this yet. Still got 45 mins to save our season!
-
****'s sake Villa.
-
What did Danny have to do with anything.
I've no idea, and if you ask 99% of the members of that group. I'm sure they have no idea either.

I noticed one of my acquaintances on facebook joined I'd rather be in prison than a grass which apparently the blues fans sung and it silenced VP. I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't see hear this, or in fact, almost anything from them, all afternoon.
Such a bunch of clearings in the woods.

Company's records after they've sponsored us I would hope we don't go with Cadbury. Might kill them off once and for all.

Another taken from an occasional VT poster:
I was at a party and the DJ played "sit down" and we all sat down. "Then he played "Jump" and we all jumped. Then "Come on Eileen" came on... I got kicked out

Hats off to the witty burglars who stole my entire CD collection with the exception of "There is Nothing Left to Lose" by the Foo Fighters. I hope that when sentencing, the judge takes into account their splendid sense of humour.
Can I just say that this is not funny. This is an actual true story and happened to ME personally in June 2003.
What? They left the Foo's CD behind??
**** hilarious!
One of the funniest things I've ever experienced was staying at my mate's house in Manchester. While I was there he was the victim of a sneak in burglary. His housemate thought all his DVDs had been stolen. Then he noticed that they'd left one, "QPR Road to Promotion" I think it was called. He was more pissed offf that they'd left that one than the fact that they'd taken all the others.
He certainly didn't find it as funny as we did. I just love the audacity of a sneak in burglar to sort through the DVDs he was stealing.

Just watching it back and they really are a disgrace as a team. Just got to the part where one of their players is down and we played on and win a corner. Larsson and Johnson go up to Downing and have a go, as if he's going to kick the ball out when he's in a crossing position.
Joe Hart comes over and pushes the pair of tossers away, gives Johnson a dirty look and pats Downing on the back. You can tell he aint a proper sha player.
Was that the one where he was down on the half way line, rolling around wanting us to put the ball out, then when we play on leapt up and sprinted to try and win the ball back? Absolutely pathetic. Not sure who it was that was down, seem to remember it being over near the doug-outs.

I just clicked on pool by mistake!
I was just scrolling down the thread to see what possible justification someone could have for voting for them!

If Villa don't get fourth (not too big an if), who would you want to get fourth and why?
For me it's Spurs. I really don't like Spurs at all. But hear me out. If Man City get into champ league they'll be able to recruit some top draw players compared to who spuds or Villa would be able to get. So it might well establish them in the top 4 for years to come.
And obviously I wouldn't want Liverpool to sneak in again, as they're such a detestable little club and set of fans who think they deserve it somehow. I'd love to see their little crisis continue. So I've gone for Spurs, what do you reckon?
-
If they have a keeper on their books who has a squad number and is fit then no, if they don't then yes. Simples.
We had Olejnik when we got Kiraly on loan. Not sure if he had a squad number or not. But I guess their Faroe Island keeper they actually bought from Blackburn I believe, so not quite the same.
-
Yes, BUT only if it's someone's reserve keeper who would normally be allowed to leave. And so long as no money changes hands to allow them to get a better one than in normal circumstances.
Please tell me when to stop laughing at SHA

You've got to wonder why he's not going to the World Cup when he's England's number one. Must be some sort of administrative error.
