We'll be fine

Makes Billy McNeill appear like Jose Mourinho
-
Micky Quinn - 'This is a football club on it's knees' - how **** true!
-
You could have at least removed the underline, the bold and changed the font colour!
WhY?
-
Like Demba Ba was on a free not long ago - jeez, get a grip folks
-
Brian Duggan has just been on wm talking on behalf of the club
**** him - spins like
Muttiah Muralitharan -
Fancy a decent wee win myself. Reckond Bent will get a start along with Wieman in attack. Millwall's defenders are all injured so if we can't put a few goals past them then it really is worrying times - or just further proof that Bent is rank!
Hopefully get a goal or two early and allow some changes to rest one or two ahead of Newcastle game.
This comment to me indicates you are also an imposter out of the Ireland mould (as you claim). You would know the team, and as for putting a few goals in - like we didn't against a 4th Div side - load of shite!
-
Why is it suddenly Lambert who is the problem? When for the last 3 years this same core of players have struggled to be motivated and organised.
We are all to aware of why Hutton and Warnock were exiled. Both of them were walking liabilities. One an own goal waiting to happen and the other a red card. Collins was moved on simply because he was on higher wages than Vlaar would command and 2 years older, with a fancy for a tipple (glug). Dunne has been injured since Lambert walked through the door. None if them could have improved the current situation.
The only bloke we've missed from last years playing squad is Stan. He'd be dragging this team to safety.
There must be questions about his tactics? - FOUR CENTRE FORWARDS on the pitch Tuesday and he took off a midfilder and wing back to accomodate - where was the supply from? - of course lumped balls from the back when their CB play this type of game week in and week out - pathetic!
-
Dear Hairyhands,
As you know the club monitor this site and have done so for years. If you have the position of knowledge you espouse you must be doing this with the clubs authority as you can surely be identified and Lambert must know wha tyou are saying on here.
Now rather than use you as his 'Max Clifford' can you tell the club to get that bloody Yank from behind his sofa and face the people he has disappointed/angered/upset - you are being used as a toned down 'General Krulak' to try and appease us 'men and women on the terraces'
We are in a mess and no amount of explanations from you will change that and Lamberts decisions tactically and with his ridiculous substitutions such as on Tuesday are no less culpable than Lerners disappearance.

And we slagged off Ellis when we couldn't sign Erik Bakke on loan - well done Lerner you have managed to do a Doug
-
Mykeyb he has no choice with Makoun he can't play for us as h has no visa because can't pass English language requirement
-
Petition to get Randy out.. i dont think he will be as stubborn as Douglas was. How do we start one of these?
A pen and a piece of paper might be a good starting point
-
We must have some use to Lerner - perhaps able to offset his profits from other businesses against losses at Villa for tax purposes?

Ivan Gaskell @IvanGaskell1
PL:"We dont want to spend money on players & then see the club in financial trouble if we go down
So thats it then, he is prepared to go down - this confirms everything about Lerner he has lost interest after all his fale promises and Lambert has no bottle
-
So Hairyhands sums it up for me - Lerner has made a right **** up of the club my letting managers sign players on high wages as clearly he had no input into it.
He then is making a bigger **** up by letting us go down and losing £60m in revenue at least - and some still call him a businessman?
I can't understand what on earth Lambert has come to us for - we was in a better position at Norwich - at least they will be in the Prem next season
-
I doubt he is even thinking of us. His occupation is described at Companies House as an 'investor' this is a bad investment and maybe he has many others and we are a tax avoidance strategy for him - far fetched but more logical than some explanations
-
And how much of that has he used from loans?
How much has he taken in re-payments and 'management fees' ?
Get real, he ain't going to make a loss

You recon Swansea are paying massive wages? I recon we would be paying more.
I reckon Michu, having just signed a new contract today is on more than anyone we signed in the Summer and more than we currently are able/willing to offer
-
I think one of his biggest problems is his ability to identify good
signings. Benteke and Vlaar aside I'm not massively impressed with our
summer dealings. Compare it to our Semi-Final counterparts Swansea and
it makes for interesting reading.
Villa IN -
Bennett (£3m), Lowton (£3.5m), Westwood (£2m), Vlaar (£3.4m), KEA (£3m),
Benteke (£7m), Bowery (£0.5m), Holman (Free) - TOTAL £23.4m
Swansea
IN - Michu (£2m), Chico (£2.2m), de Guzman (Loan), Bartley (£1.5m), Ki
(£6m), Hernandez (£5.8m), Tiendalli (Free), Schecter (Loan) - TOTAL
£17.5m
There was no need to sign FB's when we already
had 2 RB's and 2 LB's at the club. Players like Hernandez and de Guzman
would create much more chances than we are managing at the moment.
I'm not saying it's as simple as the above but personally I think Lambert is not very good in the transfer market.
WAGES?
-
Where has Mysteryman said this?
I have been one of Lambert's biggest critics but i don't think he's the type to shy away from a press converence no matter the circumstance.
Could be something afoot?
Well if something is 'afoot' it is because he won't get 'the boot' as he is 'a shoe in' for the job. Only some sort of 'heel' with no 'sole' would think otherwise
-
If he is don't you think that the team Captain and main CB should be there too?Look, if he's out on the training ground drilling defending tactics/ defending corners, then i have no problem with it. If he just can't be bothered to face the music, then he can **** off.
-
He probably needed some time. I think he may have come very close to jacking it all in after the game.
He is paid a lot of money for doing this and he will no way jack it in for that very reason
-
Lambert needs to come out and face the press after that disgrace. He panicked last night and lost his grip on that tie. Now he hasn't got the bollocks to come and face the press and in effect address the fans.
It may not be unusual for this to happen HOWEVER the timing is highly inappropriate as he has not done this before this season....or has he?

Sorry about typing but still flipping angry with that perfpormance
The Randy Lerner thread

Posted
I hate to say it but maybe protests are an option however what will the end result be?
Lerner would hate the bad publicity and may just say **** you lot and totally pull the plug - but could he make it worse?
The old 'lets get behind the players' argument has some merit BUT we did that on Tuesday and they made a royal **** up of that didn't they - clearly they can't/won't do it for us fans anyway so what is the point?
The real problem is we are going to go down with no fight, slowly dying in effect. That will then have a negative effect for next season.
So we lose say 7,000 off the gate on average for the rest of this season at say £20 a pop = £140,000 plus loss on sales making the loss over £150,000....... or another way about £70,000 a week - but if he spent that money on a player that might turn it around he gets his money back and we stay in the Prem?
Well my plan would have made sense four weeks ago but now his gamble has failed and it is all too late.
