    Barkley will be behind the striker but, let's face it, Luiz, McGinn and Barkley can all pretty much do the same job so will be comfortable wherever they find themselves in the middle of the pitch. 

    Unfortunately, the Rashica dream seems well and truly over. I'd say our dealings are probably over too now. 

    I’m pretty sure Barkley has come in to play on the left of a 3 man midfield and this will appease Jack as he knows his quality and the fact he’ll be able to trust him to pick him out with throughballs and link up well with him. also if jack vacates LW and moves infield he knows that Barkley can comfortably move out too the left in his place. Fantastic signing.

    I agree. I just think realistically it will probably be one or the other. Really don’t think Hourihane should be starting in this team that’s looking to move up the league and also would prefer one of those positions and a left back to compete with / backup Targett as a priority.

    He was Croatia’s number one keeper and everyone was really excited that he signed but he didn’t look great in his first few matches and then got a bad head injury which put him out for a while. And that was that really.

    Amazing performance considering we didn’t have a single first team player, other than maybe Traoré. Fantastic all round and very hard to choose a man of the match between Traoré, Davis and Ramsey. Watkins also superb when he came on. Only disappointment was Taylor who ruined a lot of our good play. Lovely to see Gilbert out there too. 
    10/10 performance.
