  1. Every American I've known that has come to  the UK, has their mind blown by the NHS. They were led to believe by their politicians that universal health care is the devil. And they come here and realise how f**king amazing it is (despite the NHS not being perfect), that if you need medical you can get it, without having to worry about being able to pay for it.

I've said this until I'm blue in the face.

If bruce plays horrible, long ball, direct football all next season and we win the Championship, no **** will be complaining

Probably not, but no team will win the Championship playing horrible, long ball, direct football. There's too many managers out there now, that can set up a team to counteract that style.

  3. It amazes me how many pundits are shocked that Leicester are struggling so this year. I called it last year and got mocked for it.

Any team that doesn't have the huge squads of the sky four, have always struggled in league when competing in Europe. The demands of the extra games and the travel, would clearly take demands on a Leicester squad that was incredibly lucky with injuries last season. Couple that with the draining high tempo they played, it was always going to be a struggle.

Added to this, losing players, and heads turned by bigger clubs. It was never with the best will in the world going to be anywhere near a repeat season for Leceister. Many, considered successful, premier league managers have lost their jobs in their first year of European football. No professional pundit should be surprised that this one happened either.

Apologies if posted before but is very relevant.

Over 5 years later and he hasn't improved. Mike Phelan was the main reason Hull got promoted last season in my view.

Everytime that article got posted before he was appointed it drew huge criticism, but it is almost a direct description of all the problems he's having here.

This is so disturbing. That rally

But there was only 9000 people, more than that turn up to watch Villa every week. If Villa can get a better turn out than Trump, what does that tell you.

If Tim Sherwood and Paul Lambert had a love child it would be Steve Bruce. Tactically inept and a new plan every other game. Desperate.

But you'd always suspect that the milkman, sorry McLeish was actually the father.

Maybe it was like the movie Twins, but we got the Danny Devito.

We need stability, but that stability has to be given to the right man and the right kind of manager. When Bruce was appointed I thought we were the right club for a manager like Bruce to be given time with. But I was wrong, we are not that club. We require more than just an experienced man who can organise and motivate the team. We need someone to come and build an identity, a style, through coaching and tactics and build something from the ground up. I don't think Steve Bruce is that man.

That'd be a nice start though.

What really goes on to boggle my mind is that Trump has an approval rating of around 40%.  Whilst that is setting a record for the worst approval rating for any president ever at this early a stage of the term, it still suggests that 40% of America thinks that what he has done so far is A ok with them.  I guess some people never reach a tipping point, 25% of Americans still approved of Nixon during and after the Watergate scandal....

How anyone can watch the Trump press call and not worry about his capacity to do the job is beyond me.

There is a serious problem in America with educational standards and mental health care. That is all I can conclude from this and just browsing through the social media linked with Pro-Trump. People absolutely 100% that he has not lied about anything, even the Electoral college figures, despite complete empirical evidence to the contrary.

But whilst on education, Trump went to Kew-Forest private school, it charges fees of up to $37000, how can you look at Trump and send your kids there? Let alone pay for that education.
