It really irritates me when people repost articles that have been posted 5 pages ago
Hope that wasn't aimed at me.
Page 469, nothing about Donadoni.

Donadoni! Ace
"Roberto is a great student of the English game and he is very interested in the job at Aston Villa," Collymore told skysports.com."He knows Villa are a top club with an ambitious owner and he feels he could be a success there.
"Roberto has worked at the highest level and he has always dreamed of coaching in England.
"Roberto has the experience and talent to help develop the best young English talent and also the knowledge to help find the best foreign talent available."

Craig David has reportedly joined the British Olympic Archery Squad.
He will be their Bow Selector.

David Sullivan is such a knob head.
"West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan has told Everton that they need to be ‘more realistic’ in their valuation of Yakubu Aiyegbeni after rating the striker at less than a quarter of an £8million asking price"Followed by..
"Liverpool will have to shell out £20million if they want to lure striker Carlton Cole to Anfield from West Ham"Contradictive ****.

Well, we've missed out on Kenwyne Jones.
-
Well, news is about that Sunderland have sold Kenwyne Jones to Stoke for 7million.
We've missed a trick there. Could have offered Heskey + 6million.

all one needs to do is look at the money spent. The reality is that the wage to revenue issue was not addressed and Martin apparently was unwilling to help address it. He quit
Interesting comment General. Thanks for sharing.

I for one fully support Mr Lerner, and don't believe that he has put a foot wrong since he walked through the door. All you can ask from an owner is that he respects the traditions of the club, and that he backs his manager with money and freedom to do what he wants.
Well he's done all that and more, and given O'Neill the sort of working conditions that other Villa managers could only dream about. In return, I believe he's been badly let down by O'Neill, both in terms of value for money in respect of signings made, and also in the way he has repaid 4 years of brilliant backing by walking out 5 days before the season starts.
I agree with this post, and I hope that Randy remains at the helm for a long while yet.

I'd rather Big Kev stay on as manager tbh.
He knows the squad, the staff, the job... He especially knows the strengths and weaknesses of the youth/reserve players so maybe he will change things up a bit.
Give him a couple of months and see what he does.
He's certainly done well with the reserves, but I can't think of too many success stories when clubs have internally promoted a member of the coaching staff to management.
There is always a first. Don't know if we don't give him a chance.

Premature joke ahoy:
What does Harry Redknapp have in common with Michael Jackson?
They both like to get beaten by Young Boys.
-
We should put a cheeky bid in for Valon Behrami

i see the ridiculous officiating calls all the time, but thats just a part of the game.
Exactly. If it were the case that bad referring decisions meant match fixing then the entire footballing world is fixed.

Far too many Stoolers fans in here :winkold:

General,
Is the free lettering only available at the Club Shop or will it also be offered on the Club Shop Website?
