  1. Ive been a Netflix subscriber since it launched here in the UK. Agreed it wasnt great at the start, but the library has got better in recent months. I think its TV section and documentries are best with only about 25% of the regular movies worth a viewing.

The kids section is also not bad. Plenty cartoons for the nipper to watch.

  2. Just finished watching the 5th and final season of The Wire. Started watching it from the beginning about 2 months ago (after seeing some very good reviews on here) and got totally hooked. Up there with Breaking Bad as one of the best TV series I have ever watched.

I'm sad it's all over really....

I've just finished watching it too. Really wanted a nice Hollywood ending with the bad guys going to jail and the good guys getting out the ghetto. But I guess the streets really aren't like that. I suppose thats what makes it so good.

  3. In fairness they only get onto the net because people rip the Blu rays, it must be out somewhere

In the case of Prometheus, the DVD has been leaked and ripped onto the net for about a week now. The Blu-ray isnt out for a while, so any 720/1080p rips might be several weeks.

EDIT. Looks like October 10th for the Blu-Ray release.

  4. A couple of weeks ago I saw a trailer of a show called Bedlam. Looked like a horror/thriller serie in an old hospital or something. Have anyone seen it and can tell if it's good or bad? Been looking out for it ever since, but not been able to find it. And I can't watch it on tele as I work nights. Looked interesting.

Im sure Bedlam was on Sky (UK Living maybe?) a whaile back.

It was pure garbage if my memory serves me correct.

  5. It's overtaken A Clockwork Orange as the weirdest film I've seen though.

Sounds like you need to steer clear of Kubrick. :winkold:

The Shining & Full Metal Jacket are his best in my opinon.

Nothing that weird in either of them two.

  6. shopping around for a new phone and all the decent deals are on T-Mobile... who are a pile of shite both at work and at home

Can get a Galaxy S3 for £28.50 a month through Dialaphone on Orange. Got one the other week, brilliant phone.

T-Mobile/Orange/3 all share the same 3G network now.
