  1. Still don't quite see the fuss over Rodwell.

    Decent prospect, no more.

    Fail.

Marc Albrighton is "decent prospect", Danny Wellbeck is a "decent prospect", Chris Smalling is a "decent prospect".

Jack Rodwell is a potential world superstar.

Im with VillaChris, not seen it myself.

  2. Isn't it fun when you change a baby boys nappy and he pisses in your eye?

Oh yes, the joys of parenthood

trying to convince yourself that you havent just swallowed your boys wee is also great

  3. Lets put it in perspective, I want to make it clear that I really rate Milner and think he is a truly great player and I want him to stay, but.... Look at it this way, if City upped their bid to Onoha + 22 millon and we took the 22 millon and bought Jenas, Keane and Bentley for 21 million (7 million each). Not have to be these three, feel free to put in three names that will fit into the budget of 22 million.

People must see then that we have a much stronger SQUAD then before, ofcourse we have a higher wage bill but I fully expect the likes of Beye, Sidwell, Carew and L Young moving on.

we'd have a stronger squad but a weaker starting 11.

  4. my lad lucas is now 4 and a half months old. hes just started on solids, a very fun experience and were going to our first swimming lesson at the weekend. cant wait. best thing i ever did.

  5. Guy in my apartment complex is setting up a website for the apartments. I set up a website once. When I was 12. It's gone now. Made with Geocities. Got about 1000 hits per day. I almost considered taking on a staff. It was a teenager's dating website. I think it got shut down in the end, but the numbers of applications I got was tremendous.

You could even say I had the first Facebook....

Anyways, this website he's making has absolutely no purpose. But he's pestering us all with it. I set up a forum so that people in the building maybe could get to know each other. 4 members so far. He's now trying to take over the forum. And **** it all up because he has experience with html maybe. I sent him an email last night to tell him that he didn't need my password once I had made him administrator. He emailed again today to tell me that he was wondering if I had gotten his email. Of course I **** got it. And you got mine you **** thick.

So i sent it to him again. Now it doesn't bother me that he's bothering me a little, but it's as if he has some sort of authority now just because he set up this **** terrible redundant - completely redundant - website. I mean what is it going to be used for? At the moment he has pictures and snippets of text taken from the estate agent's guide and that's about it. Some terrible redundant flash that just came with whatever program he was using and is just a distraction on the page. Honest to goodness my website when I was 12 had more going for it. 100 times more. And it wasn't full of retarded pictures and animations that serve to annoy and not impress.

And yet he got my **** name wrong when acknowledging that I had set up the forum in one of his all to frequent group emails.

sounds like a bit of website envy to me.

  6. Walcott & Gabby upfront would be one of those signings that could work or could flop.

It could be devastating with the pace between them - but only if O'Neill could drill it into them that they have to concentrate on their positioning and movement.

On the other hand - if it flopped then Walcott could drop to the right wing, Ash can stay on the left and Downing could be used for rotation to keep them both fresh (But then we'd be back to square one - needing a new striker).

do people still consider Walcott a striker? when was the last time he played up front. Never at Arsenal in my recollection. Hes a winger now and we have better.

  7. I'm very hopeful he'll stay. He is a smart lad and I hope he sees what moving to a "Big Club" has done for the likes of Carrick, Sidwell etc.. I think he will know that developing for at least another year at VP will not do him any harm in the long run.

Carrick? Won the premiership 3 times, champions league and the world club cup. Lets hope Milner is using him as one of the examples.

    Analysis by Nate Silver

    loads and loads of bullshit

That entire article is flawed as hell.

Fat isn't bad. Eating fat does not make you fat. You're not exhausting half your budget of "bad stuff" you're meeting half your budget of "stuff your body needs, but you're probably not giving it, because you're a retard that thinks all fat is bad so avoid it to the extent you're probably only getting 10% of your calories from fat rather than the 30% your body really wants".

That's not to mention that protein is awesome. And people generally eat too many carbs. That means the double down is FAR better for people than anything in a bun when people already eat carb dense diets.

The salt thing is a non-issue unless you have hypertension as well. Our bodies can cope with far far more salt than that.

If you're grabbing a bite to eat at a fast food joint the double down should be top of the list of "things that won't turn me into a fatty" simply because it lacks the calorie dense hunks of something that looks kinda like bread but really isn't either side of it.

By missing off the carbs contained in everything other than the double down they're screwing the results, so essentially the graph is true ONLY if you just eat the patties.

The "double downs per calorie" is also laughable, because it then turns getting calories from anything but protein and fat into a good thing, the more calories in the burgers that come from anything else, the better according to that graph! Which is pure bullshit when you consider the breakdown of your average diet. Whereas you should be aiming for a 50/30/20 carb/protein/fat break up most people are actually nearer to 70/20/10

so just to confirm, am i allowed a big mac at lunch or not?

  9. Word going about here, but nothing confirmed yet by media sources that two bombs have went off in the police station here.

I thought I heard a blast not too long ago, but thought nothing of it until I received a text. Few helicopters going about, and they only come out round here when something serious has happened, last time this many were out was when the police officer was shot here last year

    where is here?

  10. think he'll go and think it'll be around 25m. Which i think is a good price. This whole thing for me though is one of the reasons the top 4 has stayed so strong for so long. If you have players that are playing at that level then the top 4 simply take them away. Berbatov, Keane, Carrick, Barry. Would anyone be surprised to see Bale and Gomez at United next year?

  11. I think we need to add a "Non of them they were all shite" option to the poll, it would get my vote.

couldnt disagree more, thought it was a good performance from all. Two poor goals to concede but nice to see us try and play a bit of football. If we score some of our easy chances your looking at a very different game.

Thought Carew was excellent, how many times did he bring the ball down in the box and bully Jagielka, just a shame we couldnt link up better with him.

  12. I aspire to get out of the country and move somewhere nicer before i get sucked into the system.

how does anyone actually do this without getting sucked into anothers countrys system.

A friend of mine moved to Spain, now has the choice of working 12 hour days in a shop or resturant, gets one day off a week but hardly works in the winter. Guess what, its not sunny then. Dont get it.

  13. Cadbury Creme egg flavour ice cream is currently on the list... not is sickly sweet as the real thing

Talking of Walkers I think they should be in the shops soon so check out the American Cheeseburger flavour .. if you close your eyes it's a McDonalds Cheesburger that you are eating , even has the mustard & gherkin taste balance right ..of course it depends on your POV of McDonalds cheeseburgers

OMG you just reminded me of the best crisps ever made.

And in doing so, I've found a place where I can order them. Cheers Tony. :thumb:

still for sale in my corner shop. love em but not a patch on Transformersnacks

  14. Injuries for us:

    Definitely out - Fellaini, Gosling.

    Doubts - Arteta, Anichebe, Yobo.

    No suspensions.

    I expect team will be:

    Howard

    Neville

    Jagielka

    Distin

    Baines

    Bilyaletdinov

    Osman

    Heitinga

    Cahill

    Pienaar

    Saha

Yakubu might start instead of Saha. As might Rodwell or Arteta (if fit) for Billy I'd guess - meaning Osman out wide.

That's a strong team AG - this everton team dismanteld a very strong Man City team the other week so I expect (as usual) a very tough game probably resulting in a draw. I cant see us getting the win - we will struggle with Everton's tenacity - and that boy Cahill is probably the best midfielder outside of the Sky4.

    We need a win.

Cahill best midfielder outside of the top 4....with his head maybe. Massively over rated for me.

  15. watched the manure chelsea game in 3d and for me it definately adds to the viewing experience. Not really gimmicky just like the above poster said, good depth. Sports like golf also look great in 3d, its like looking into a goldfish bowl just a bit more fun.
