And every single one of them hammered in from at least 60 yards out. What a player Hitz was.

Do you remember that time he scored away at Leicester, I think he was in Munich at the time.

  3. Getting into the Mission Impossible jizz, here's my list (it's the film series I've inexplicably seen every instalment in cinema... But haven't seen the new one yet.)

    Fallout

    MI3

    MI1

    Ghost Protocol

    Rogue Nation

    MI2

The word on the street says the new one is rather good.

  4. Trust in Monchi.... He is expert. You never know, things happening in reality and things leaking out to the press - who knows what the lag time is between it happening then it leaking that it's done? Anyone know? I don't know. Could be all done as far as we know.

Where the twitter account has barely any followers and they are claiming to be a Ramano style ITK it's definitely BS. But I agree that you can't always dismiss every other account because it doesn't have many followers, because you get the odd bit of truth from them.

I hate it when the bs twitter itk accounts try to copy, like sticking in "This is a here we go" - not your catchphrase mate! I hate catchphrases myself, don't steel them though to try and backup your own claims!

Silly season has arrived and it's been the silliest yet.

  6. If we sign no other midfielder then I think it makes perfect sense to hold onto him until at least January, whilst he is a CM by trade he also has the attributes to play as a wide midfielder either side (like McGinn and Ramsey did a lot after UE came in) and has played in the area between midfield and attack. We're going to have a lot of games this season (potentially) and he's already shown he can do well. Even Emery has said he gets how we're trying to play and how to work in the system, it's just that he needed a consistent run of games.

I wouldn't be so quick to get rid. 1st choice? Not likely. Rotational/Backup? They don't get much sexier.

  7. I'd be amazed if we were to pay the type of fee Chelsea would expect for a 30 year old striker. On his day he's unplayable but unfortunately those days are few and far between now. On loan it might be an interesting proposition if the financials were right, but to be honest, I really can't see this happening.

Are there any famous films where the "baddies" score a total win?

The Great Escape sees most of the escapees murdered.  A few get away.  That's not a total win.

There is probably a factual film that meets that criteria.

    Is there a fictional one?

The Silence Of The Lambs sees Lecter escape.  But Starling solves a murder, rescues a hostage and kills Buffalo Bill.   That's not a total win.

    Any ideas?

    Spoiler

The original Saw springs to mind here, as well as Avengers: Infinity War (as just a standalone film but we know it gets undone in subsequent films).

The Dark Knight gets close to it as the goal for Joker in the end is to show the ugly side of humanity and de-throne Batman as a moral compass.

Forgot about Black Panther 2... Another I turned off after about 25 minutes. Just knew it wasn't for me as it bored my backside off.

I doubt I’ll be bothering with any once I’ve seen End Game

Out of all the post endgame films, the only 2 that I've enjoyed are "Spiderman: No way home" (really enjoyable just for Willem Dafoe alone) and Guardians Vol 3. (really good) - the rest are very passable, Thor 4 as someone else said is absolute turdwaffle, got bored of Black Widow after 20 minutes and turned it off, and I can't remember what else there was, which goes to show how forgettable the others are.

If you're interested it departed about an hour later to Munich (it's based in Germany)

It's a plane leased by a German based company. Mystery over 😛

  12. Shame it's a cloudy day, I could have got a photo of the plane flying over the Isle of Wight as it looks like the flightpath will take him directly over me.... Even if it would have been a barely visible dot
