    General well said but you also have to understand the fans frustration, seeing that the Chief Executive made big statements to the press regarding signings and seeing other clubs signing players, and we sign someone who struggled to make impact with a team who were in a relegation battle. My argument on this which i believe is valid, we were told by MON himself that he is trying hard to get players in? If Harewood was on our list then why wasn't he snapped up a long time back, he was surplus to requirements at the end of the season.

    General Are there any jobs going for Scouts at AVFC? There are a few people who think they would do a better job than our current ones! People get off the clubs back about transfers, take a look at WHUFC chairman he loves the limelight, were professional in terms of business being done behind closed doors and only announced when we have something to announce? But i would be interested in being a scout lol

    Tricella, the two players you come up with are Sidwell and Distin. I like many other fans are wont lose any sleep for missing out on these two i assure you. Next you'll be saying we got rejected by Nani, Anderson and Hargreaves.

    Name of players? I can't think of one player who has signed for a club that we were actually in for! I think your just sitting on Football Manager with your dream team and making all these assumptions. We are targeting players in the mould of Carew and Young, ambitious players. What you need to think about not every top player will join the big clubs. In my honest opinion when the season starts you will be eating humble pie.

    Again its all about money, I think when it comes to MON he has the Brian Clough mentality to signing players, "your not leaving till you sign that contract" Plus i think there are some players who we are after who haven't even been mentioned by us. The Spanish league isn't over yet. We will get quality its just biding our time.

    Im with Jas on this, i dnt believe they have rejected us, look at Willie McKay hes still telling everyone his release fee is 5.5million. We want Reo Coker, who i potentially believe is better than both of them.

    2 weeks? John Carew took a few days to decide and Young took a few days too now we get a championship player who wants a few weeks he can stay there. Thought those type of players were hungry for the premiership, obviously not.
