  1. It looks complicated but they've done it to break down the phone traffic, better than having 10k people trying to get though as soon as they go on sale, seems understandable to me.

  2. I've been to 4 games this season so I have no flipping chance. Annoying that my mate who has been to 0 games this season and his 2 other mates will get tickets as they have a contact in the club.

Get a ticket for Saturday and then you've been to 5 so can buy in the last window, it will go down to that.

  3. Seems Daniel Sturridge is a friend of the family.

Shoutout to the lil homie @Rushcmpt on making his debut today at 16 years old for @AVFCOfficial I know your dad is proud boy!! #salute 1f44c.png1f44c.png

Not many know that Sturridge started out at Villa before Man Citeh stole him as a youth!

Well done lad, Onwards and Upwards.

Not many people know that because that's not true, he went to Coventry from us and then onto Man City 3 years later.

  4. Wow just noticed mcmanaman in that clip.", he actually stops and goes out of his way to barge a couple of villa fans, and we were led to believe that villa fans were to blame! Disgusting, I hope the fa pick up on this, anyway to bring it to their attention?

So the fans who broke the rules and ran onto the pitch are the victims now? Hilarious.
    Where have I said that?

When you said the bit about the fans being barged by the players and that the FA should do something

We were led to believe that fans targeted the Wba players and that they were the victims. This clip shows fans being tripped and barged by wba players, not the other way round. Whether the fans should have been there or not is another argument. It's not the first time and it won't be the last time a pitch invasion has happened so I don't think players should start trying to cause agro with fans who lets be honest were only on the pitch to celebrate a result. The problem players have is they think they're untouchable and on this occasion I think they're lucky that those involved didn't have a go back at them.

I wonder if Morrison gets anything for this:

Latest social media clip shows Baggies midfielder tackle the Villa supporter as he runs onto the field

It followed an earlier pitch invasion moments before the end when referee Anthony Taylor was forced to temporarily halt play.

And a clip posted by phil_hold on social media site Instagram appears to show Morrison sticking out his leg to trip a fan running onto the field.

A team-mate, believed to be Callum McManaman, also appears to barge into several supporters.

Players from both teams generally tried to vacate the field as quickly as possible as jubilant supporters flooded on to celebrate.

Villa will face Blackburn or Liverpool in the semi final at Wembley on April 18 or 19 after tonight's last four draw was made.

Just posted about this, it's quite funny but surely could have caused a riot if the fan reacted? They're slowly starting to look bad in this.

  8. I'll take that, moreno & Johnson vs sinclair & gabby on the huge Wembley pitch?

    I **** can't wait!

I'm sure the big pitch thing isn't true. I've a feeling Wembley's pitch is exactly the same size as ours.

    I think it's a few yards wider.

  9. 2 days later and the FA have requested all footage of the incidents reported, both from the pitch invasion and what happened in the stands

At worst were going to get a substantial fine (£100,000+) warned as to future conduct and we will be told to beef up the stewarding

Best case is a minimal fine (smallheath got fined £20k for invading the pitch in the qf against us in 2011), and a warning against future conduct and told to improve stewarding

Neither club is coming out of this smelling of roses, its easy to say as fans that we were simply releasing the emotions after having nothing to celebrate in 5 years but in reality that's what I was for 99% of those on the pitch

The other 1% have been pictured spitting, shoving and jeering at boaz myhill, Callum mcmanaman and joleon lescott, I hope those involved in these acts get punished accordingly

As for the F.A, what happened should be a catalyst for them not to be strong armed into letting a local derby in a cup game with a game at Wembley at steak kick off after giving the fans a chance to get on the piss all day

As for the seat throwing and crowd trouble, shame on Aston Villa for thinking everything would be rosy letting Wba fans sit above Aston villa fans in the north stand, what exactly did they expect to happen.

Everything that happened was entirely preventable by having the game lick off at 12.30

Whoa whoa whoa what did they expect to happen with Albion fans above villa fans? Almost sounds like it's excusing what they did.
How am I excusing what they did? It was to be expected given the rivalry between the 2 clubs and what was at stake and then throw the kick off time into it you should expect trouble, coins thrown, seats broken and thrown was always going to happen. Its not excusing the act of moronic violence at all. Put a set of 1 clubs fans directly below the other your asking for trouble.

I personally never expected that, I expected maybe a bit of trouble outside the ground. I've been to numerous villa Albion derbies and never seen any trouble.
