I remember watching Petrov during his bad patch at VP, I remember screaming for him to get substituted - which he did at half time and we ended up winning the game. However, he won be back over with his gutsy performances and leading the team out as captain. He certainty grew on me as a player and in my eyes become a key figure at VP. Gutted that we'll never see him play again, and he seems a generally nice guy! He goes into the list of villa Legends for me, along with the recent additions of Mellberg and Larson. 19th minute! {clap clap clap}

Wigan's remaining games... - Arsenal away - The mighty Villa at home If they secure 6 points from that then they deserve to stay up!! Before their defeat against Swansea, I was worried as I could see them picking up 6 points from their remaining 3 games, with one of those being against Swansea. Well, they screwed that up and the best I can see them doing is a draw at Arsenal and a win against us - which would mean we would be safe from relegation. Personally, I think they will lose against Arsenal... and I think we would beat them on the final day of the season ... but like most of you, I want to our premiership status to be confirmed as quick as possible, so a win against chelsea please :-D

Seriously can't see Wigan beating Arsenal away and then us at their place, particularly after a FA Cup appearance (win or lose)

You have to look on the faces of the Wigan players at the end of that game to tell they know the great escape is looking unlikely They have a massive cup tie which they will be most likely lose, and probably by a few goal. The team will come out of that go to Arsenal, a difficult game, particular after a cup tie... and then face us, and we're in form. I Arsenal will have a field day against them, so we're safe!! Just checked Skybet, we've gone up to 66/1 to be relegated, from 25/1 this afternoon

Newcastle, Sunderland and Norwich for me. Newcastle can get out of it with a win at QPR, they lose that then jesus! They are going to be shitting it next weekend! Sunderland are struggling, but I can see them picking up on more win Norwich started the game off well against us, but I always thought we'd get something out of the game which is worrying for them. They didnt strike up many chances and need to reverse their form, and quick! I can see Wigan winning tonight. I hope they dont, but they are flying atm and a win will surely get a handful of supporters truely shitting themselves! 1 more point for us, and we'll be safe. I hope we get it at chelsea so that we can enjoy the sunshine on the final day of the season, but I can see us being in the battle on the final day of the season - you know, one of the teams who could go down if another 4 results go against them!
