4-4-2
Johnstone
Elmo Chester Terry Bree
Snodgrass Thor Hourihane Grealish
Grabban Kodjia

Win the next 2 games and then it’s all to play for.
If we don’t get automatic then I hope Fulham sneak it as I think we’d have more chance against Cardiff in the play offs.
-
The extra 3 days off should hopefully help our injury situation - then 10 points needed from the next 4 games!!

Would be a sensible signing for me

I agree we need a striker, HOWEVER, we do have 5 on the books currently - Hogan. McCormack, Davis, RHM and Gabby and we're only playing one up top. Can Agnew work his magic on McCormack as he has seemingly done with Hogan?
In an ideal world you'd lose Gabby and McCormack and bring one in but will anybody take them? If we can't do a deal on a striker, I'd like us to at least strengthen with somebody who can play anywhere across the three positions behind the striker. Just another options for goals/creativity really.

I wonder if the (ATM - M) means AT as in Axel Tuanzebe?
I reckon nail on head

Better position for him in deep lying midfield!

Time to go

Yes, far too many negative people pre match! I personally thought the starting XI was good and so it came to pass.

I don’t mind that starting line up away from home, but the bench is awful!! What will he do if we need a goal?
-
Read Bruce's after match comments. Apparently he has always played with 2 strikers at other clubs - really?!
Said that last night was his first opportunity to play two up top since being at Villa, again, really?!?!
He's full of nonsense, but I'm sure if he now strings some wins together, we'll put up with it!

4-4-2
Johnstone
Elmo
Terry
Chester
Taylor
Snodgrass
Onomah
Hourihane
Adomah
Davis
Kodjia
Subs - Steer, De Laet, Samba, Jedi, Lansbury, O'Hare, Hogan
So basically the same as yesterday but with Onomah in for Whelan to provide some energy in the middle!
-
I can't see a British manager that is available who fills me with confidence - I therefore hope we go abroad and identify someone with a specific attacking style.
Frank De Boer is available!
-
Alladyce?

Time to go, trouble is I wouldn't have a clue who to replace him with!!
-
I'd love to see Adomah and Hogan on and 4-4-2. I guess that would mean Samba and Onomah off

Best signing of the summer for me

You know what... I wish we'd kept Scott Sinclair. At the time I was totally onboard selling him, but that was on the back of that dreadful PL season. I think he'd do well at this level, as he has done in the Scottish 'league'.
Might have been a different story last year - both him and Kodjia would have got 20 goals. A front 3 of Adomah, Kodjia and Sinclair would have been interesting to watch.

Just watched the highlights, who was the centre mid pinging balls around like Pirlo?

I like him and would be an excellent loan signing if it happens - but where is he going to play- would he really be happy kicking his heels on our bench and at his age?
Snodgrass would be one of the first names on the team sheet - he's class!

Does anybody know how Snodgrass and Elmo lined up in the same team?

Finishing with the starting XI I suggested pre match - let’s see how we get on!
