I still think we'll end up with Rhodes on deadline day

For me in order of preference we need:

RB

LW

I'd be delighted with Lansbury, Hourihane and Rhodes. Full back and winger can wait until summer if necessary! 

I don't see why there's a hold up for Lansbury and Hourihane if we want them!  Even if we pay top whack for players with contracts ending, it will still be well below their market value - stop messing about and get it done!!

Johnstone - Loan

Brady - swap with McCormack

Am I the only person who doesn't see a problem with Gestede + 4m for Rhodes?

I'm really surprised we've not tied up Hourihane already - especially if he's available for 1m - makes me thing we had bigger ambitions at the start of the window!

He can go - done very little of worth this season, and I can't see him doing much when he returns. 12-15million could make massive improvements elsewhere in the team. 

Put it this way, if we could sell Ayew and get Lansbury, Hourihane and Bree with some change to loan a striker, would you?

If Bruce plans to utilise 4-4-2 more frequently then I think him and Kodjia up top would be great!

if not, and we continue with 4-3-3, then it's not going to work for him here. If that's the case then a straight swap for Brady would give us the left midfielder we need and create space for a striker Bruce wants (Rhodes or Hernandez?)

Add those two to Johnstone, Bree and Lansbury and that would be a pretty decent window! 

We do need a striker in my opinion, but I can only see us getting one if Bruce is able to shift McCormack or Ayew (Neither of which I think he rates).

For me, Ulloa would be a great signing for where we are now!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Gestede and Ayew moved on, and another striker brought in. 

Great news for us. Ayew isn't a massive loss for me, so that just means Kodjia whose loss will impact us greatly!

We desperately need centre mids. At least 2 as it seems Tish has been completely frozen out. After that I'm not too fussed unless they are a clear improvement, I would say Gollini is not for Bruce and then Hutton is next on the block. 

Was a tricky call, but we need a new centre back and I don't believe in buying squad players, only players who will immediately improve the first team. 

I guess another option would be to get Toner back from Walsall.

Exactly - energetic centre midfielder (we didn't replace Gana) and creative left midfielder needed! 

Zach Clough looks very good!

You How many loans are we allowed from premiership clubs? 

Jenkinson would be a great signing. Johnstone would be fine as back up. 

A top centre and a forward to cover African cup of nations and that would be a great window. 

Sell him and sign a proper left aided midfielder.
