  1. We've had this debate before recently but the BNP are effectively a very left wing party that just so happens to be racist. They advocate much more public spending on the NHS, education, etc etc IIRC. They're not really that close to the Tories on anything.

I'd also say that much of their support most likely comes from people we'd expect to be Labour fans, poor background, keen on state intervention, and so on.

To be honest, I think if a party popped up that had most of the BNP's policies, but got rid of the racism, they'd probably be rather popular amongst Labour heartlands. It's just as well the party is defined by it's racism, thankfully, because if that was on the back burner as they'd like it to be they'd get plenty of votes.

    So basically National Socialists...

  2. I shall vote UKIP

Not that it will may a jot of difference in this area as I am in one of the safest Tory seats in the UK, hence the reason Douglas Hurd was my MP for years and now a certain David Cameron is my MP. He only lives three miles down the road from me and I have met him a number of times. He is actually a suprisingly pleasent guy, though comes across as a bit a wishy washy dandy to be honest.

I fully expect the tories to get in to power this time, which I am fine with as I feel we need a change.. plus I am looking forward to seeing what new and exciting ways they can screw me over!

  3. Burnley are good at Turf Moor, I wouldn't surprised if we lost by a few goals today.

    THEY ARE **** BURNLEY.

    NOT BARCELONA.

yes, they are tough, but their players are not **** messi. they are still beatable with the right goddamn approach and team selection.

Of course they are beatable but to think it should be easy just be cause they are little, unfashionable, Burnley is both patronising and stupid at it ignores their excellent home record.

  4. I think its a very feasible post and the thoughts of more folk than most on here would have you believe.

He said he would like him replaced. Look at the poll at the top of the page. That's 14 folk, you and him included. You've almost got enough for a breakaway Villa rugby team.

I voted 'Stay' however am generally in agreement with the crux of Commanders post... I don't feel MON is capable of moving us beyond our current level.

I voted 'stay' because getting rid of a manager during a season is a desperate thing to do, unfair on everyone involved (including the new manager) and can easily backfire on a club.

Come the end of season though, I think you will find the number of people voting 'Go' will increase by quite a number
