Hindsight management is a wonderful thing. It’s one game, we have 5 left to put it right. Emery would have leant a lot tonight. It’s better to learn this stuff when you have a chance to put it right.
It's not really hindsight, he did the same against Stevenage and got the same result

We all knew he was a last minute emergency loan when we signed him so we can't be too upset that he's no great shakes.
In fairness he didn't drop any clangers, he just didn't so much to suggest he should be playing

He needs to use the squad, the squad let him down. It’s that simple.
Whilst true, I do think if you make too many changes you're asking for trouble as no matter the quality of the players the team will look disjointed. I'd rather start with close to our strongest team and then swap in the squad players later in the game rather than the other way round.
I'm not too worried, as I still think we'll get out of the group, but Unai does need to make sure there is a well drilled team out on the pitch, rather than a bunch of strangers

Terrible
Tielemans needs to stfu about starting, he's lucky to make the bench the useless arse
Duran motm because at least he looked like he cared
Unai made some serious boo-boos there and needs to reconsider how much he's prepared to rotate players

Starting to think we over paid for this guy

We were pretty close to signing Lampard but he chose Chelsea instead
Who was the player that was announced as 'signed' on Sky Sports, complete with yellow ticker tape and everything? I think it was a Spurs player? Early 2010's? And then it turned out no one knew anything about it or where it had come from

We’ll need to part with about £75m to get him.
And then relocate ourselves to London if he still won't move out of the capital

Pace is one thing you can't teach and I fear that he doesn't have enough for this league

Why does Great British Baking Show take place in a tent?
Originally it moved around different locations in the country so a tent made sense as it enabled the same aesthetic in different places.
As it now stays in one place I would guess it's just to link it back to its 'heritage'

In the words of Roy Walker, It's a good guess but it's not right.
(It's a really good guess, it's the eyes right?)
Bit more overdrive than the Monkees is my clue
Yes, the eyes and the chin!

Little Emi and Big Ty are probably our most tenacious players and without them we are looking a bit of a soft touch against the better teams

He'll get chances and it's up to him to take them when they come.
So far he has looked very ordinary when he has played

Jimmy Summerville. 30 million. Whack it down on the table.
Let’s make it mighty real!!
Brilliant voice back in the 80s but not sure he's got the chops to put 30m his way

I guarantee those in pot 1 will be hoping to avoid us from pot 2

Was he ? Or was he part of a dysfunctional team with a head case manager hell bent on self destruction. Outside Kane who wasn’t shite for spurs ? Think it’s a wise signing if it comes off and I’m excited by it - competition breeds quality
Well, yes, he was shite for Spurs, I don't think that can really be questioned.
What you've given is the possible reasons for that shiteness and I'm happy to go with that. Hopefully a different team, with a better manager, and we will see a much better player

Not convinced our recruitment strategy should be determined by Spurs mate of yours
In fairness he was shite for Spurs
However, I trust Unai and if he feels the player fits then it's all gravy

Think we will concede more with him in the team but I also think we'll score more

At times Wolves played some good football against United and were robbed of an injury time pen. They might have enough if they can be more consistent. Everton we’re as bad as any PL team I’ve seen for some time.
Yes, very much like that team that stank the league out in 2015-16. Can't remember their name..

I think it's a highly competent side to beat Hibernian
Whole sale changes leads to results like the Stevenage one. We should go in strong, take a good win back to Villa park and then we can look to utilise the squad

Why bother coming onto a forum to discuss things if you're going to throw your toys out the pram if people disagree with you?
Emery is fantastic manager, I'm very happy we have him and he has been nearly perfect since he joined us but tonight he dropped a bollock and isn't above criticism
