I also skilled up my first aid to 250, very, very useful, as it saves mana by not having to use heal spells. Reached 225 in leatherworking, so I now have to choose which specialisation to go for. Will prpbably choose dragon scale.
Looks like Dan will be the first to get his mount from us lot. Can't wait until we've all got one, we'll be able to travel in style!

That's ace Nayson! "Death by, er chicken?!"
Thought this was quite funny last night.
Trying to do the Scarlet Monastery Cathedral, and after we'd all been wiped out for about the 5th time, we all reentered the instance to find this lot waiting to welcome us:
-
Yeah with that dragon it was like being at a party and you think "would anyone actually notice if I wasn't here?"
I felt like a little kid watching his older brother punching somebody, shouting, "woo, yeah" from the sidelines!
At least though with totems, it doesn't matter what level others around me are.
Pissed off I couldn't skin the bastard as well.
-
It certainly was! It resisted every single spell I tried, and don't think I did much damage from melee either! Hopefully my totems were of some use though. When windfury kicks in everybody gets two extra hits, and I also dropped a fire resistance totem as well.

Stupid question perhaps but what the hell is this WoW? I realise it's World of Warcraft and that Chinese people play it for weeks on end and die but can anyone explain what it actually is?
It's a computer game. Only a matter of time until it gets cited in my divorce!

Think I'm going to get a bit left behind, as I just can't spend the concerted amount of time on that you need to level quickly. I'm still 30,000 off L38, which probably means 170,000 or something stupid from L40. That said, I've still got 4 or 5 active quests in Hillsbrad at 2-3000 XP each.
-
Think we need to get together in Badlands Tarj. I need the XP badly, seem to have been stuck on L37 for ages now.

Frustrating night last night. Trying to finish a few q's in Arathi, but Hammerfall was surrounded by a good half a dozen Allies, who kept ganking and corpse camping every time I went out, and no Horde in sight. That utter word removed Deluroc (or whatver his name is) was outside, and at L46, I didn't stand a chance. I've half a mind to buy an ebay L60 Warrior just so I can track that **** down and make his life hell! Grrrrrrr.
On a lighter note, I finished a q where I had to plant a rod in a grave in Southshore. Took me four attempts due to the guards seeing me and finishing me off. On the last go, 3 ally players saw me res in the grave yard, and ran over to finish me off. Unfortunately for them, completing this q makes a L45 Horde elite and several minions appear, who swiftly dispatched my would be assailants! Ah well, at least they didn't have far to go back to their bodies!!

TV's just the thing I do for half an hour now while I'm in the queue to play WoW!
-
Going out for a meal in an hour, so want to pop on to try and complete that Gelkis quest. Oh quel surprise, over 400 in the queue.
Shit and buggery.
-
The time is 7.27pm, and I'm no. 398 in the queue. Marvellous. I've sent an email to Blizzard asking them about migration from Deathwing, I'll wait and see what they say!
-
You mean your REAL social life has gone down hill Tarj. I still go to the pub, it's just it's the one in Orgrimmar now!
-
Helping out noobs with q's is ace fun, and hopefully encourages all round cooperation in the Horde world. Rescuing lower players from a ganking is even better fun.
I was at the zep stop over the weekend and a L22 shammy thanked me for the leather gloves I'd made and sold in the AH! Aaahhhh!
-
Try and make some Elixir of Defense. I'll buy as much as you can make!
-
We kicked arse in the Library tonight, everyone going about their jobs nicely, good stuff fellas!
Considering we didn't have a proper tank, and nobody was over L40, we made it look piss easy.
Played boys!
Bicks' new bear is great, really got stuck in!
And I blew half my gold on a purple L38 mace. Most of my mount fund gone, but I'll have time to make it up!
-
20 minutes wait and I'm still not on.....**** bollocks.
-
Jesus. Sunday evening and there's 463 ahead of me in the queue. As Si says, that really isn't good enough.
It's a brilliant, amazing game, the very best there's ever been in my opinion, but Blizzard need to sort it out.
From the crap downloading of patches, to the lagging, to the stupid queues, to the down time most Wednesdays after maintenance, for the money they get in it just isn't acceptable.

That's the biggest gripe I have Nays. Queuing to get back on after you've "done a Risso!"
I was in a group yesterday doing the Scarlet Monastery. I needed two books to complete 2 quests. Anyway I died just before the big battle at the end, only to have a 10 minute wait to get back on, by which time the others had finished everything, had had all the good drops, and **** off!
And the other night (the one where me, Dan, Si and Nays were kicking Ally ass around the base camp) I'd got in the queue for a battleground. The countdown timer seemed to always say I had about 90 minutes to two hours left, but after 5 hours of play, I never actually made it into the battle.
-
**** brilliant night tonight! Me and Dan were in Stranglethorn, waiting near the expedition camp, merrily killing anyone who came near. Then a load of allies arrived, laying waste to everybody. After that, Nays, Sie amd Simon show up like tthe cavalry, and a ganking spree ensued. THEN a whole load more ally reinforcements arrived, and kicked our arses...THEN 3 or 4 Level 60 Horde turn up to sort them out!
The end result was anout 27 hk's for me in one night, so I'll get my tabard next week!
Cheers Nays, Si and Sie...you da men!

Anyone can play WoW and enjoy it, but to be really good at it means you have to do a lot of research.
It's frightening the detail some people go into. I've been reading up on what sort of gear I should be buying for my build (ie +strength, agility, spirit) etc and frankly it's all a bit bewildering! I've respecced my talent tree twice, and I still don't know if what I've done is right, despite reading loads of forums. I've decided thought that my PvP sucks, and I need to get some practise in desperately, so I'll definitely head for the battlefield at some point tonight.
I was in Ashenvale last night and came across a L32 Ally mage ganking a level 25 Warlock. He finished the lock off, then camped on his corpse, dancing about and stuff.
I took great pleasure in marching over and shocking him. Frost shocked him, then got a crit from my earth shock, which all but wiped him out. When he ressed he tried to leg it, so I ghost wolfed and hunted him down like a dog!
-
Cheers Si.
Anyone one to help me out killing elite Ogres in Crushbridge tonight?
-
I don't mind waiting to get on so much Nays, it's more the fact that I always seem to crash in Orgri, then have to queue up again. I'm no expert, but it'd be good if there was a way if the game could check if you'd been on in the last five minutes say, and you then wouldn't have to queue if you looged off or crashed.
Anyway, moan over.
Anyone on during the day, if you're in the AH could you keep a look out for a decent bluey 1H axe for me. I've got a decent mace, the deadwood sledge, but orcs get axe specialization as a talent. Something like the steelclaw reaver or sickle axe would be good. If you see one could you buy it, and I'll pay you back.
-
I've never waited more than 15 minutes, but that's still too long, especially with the better than average chance of my computer crashing when I'm in Orgri.
Next migration I reckon we should do one!
-
Stupid **** Deathwing bastard server. 250ish queues all nigth, ie about 10-15 minutes wait to get on. Talking to Nayson in Orgri, when I crash and have to queue again. Get back on, and itcrashes immediately again. Another **** queue. I reckon Blizzard need a migration from Deathwing, it's getting beyond a joke.
