  1. It's just that not everyone achieves that utopia in their relationships, and so many are led to stray .....

The thing is, that if you feel the need to cheat, then split up with your current partner. I seems a little bit hypocritical to me to do otherwise, i.e. say I'm cheating because it's not working with my partner, but have the best of both worlds.

Not saying that I have never cheated, but I wouldn't cheat on my current partner, if I felt the need to, I would split up with her.

Vile, and awful shock clearing in the woods.

    Yes. Of course.

Any reason for this outburst, or just the usual knee-jerk?

I just don't like him, he goes for shock value over substance half the time IMO, I don't rate him as a chef, got a problem with that?

And I'd really prefer it, if you posted on post.

I think you'll find that was on post. Ask someone else if you need to confirm it :winkold: .

Have you read his recipes? They are absolutely about substance, nothing about shock. What do you base this odd view on? It doesn't fit anything of his that I've read.

Or do you mean his views about using all of an animal, if you have to kill it? I know you shoot animals for enjoyment. Maybe you don't like to eat all of what you have killed? Is that it?

I'm guessing here. Do me the favour of explaining yourself. Please. Just for once.

What on earth are you on about? I am talking about his road kill recipes, his Placenta Pate and the hedgerow scoffing, if that isn't for shock value then I don't know what is.

So for once, instead of just jumping on one of my posts, as usual, actually read up on the subject first. And Yes I have read his recipes and I don't like him as a chef, I presume that is OK with you? If not, I actually couldn't give a damn.

And as for your attemped and quite pathetic dig about my hunting trip, you couldn't be more wrong, as I made it absolutely clear that all the animal was used... and in fact is still in use.

My Favourite would be Flemish Stew with a pastry cap

    So

Season beef cubes with salt and pepper and dredge with flour. Shake off any excess. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large heavy skillet over high heat until hot but not smoking. Add the beef cubes and sauté until nicely browned on all sides. Work in batches so as not to crowd the beef cubes, or they will steam instead of sauté. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, if necessary. Transfer the beef cubes to a heavy Dutch oven. Add 1 tablespoon butter to the skillet and melt over medium heat. Add onions and cook stirring occasionally, until browned, about 15 minutes. If necessary, raise the heat toward the end of the cooking time. It is important to brown the meat and the onions evenly to give the stew its deep brown color. The trick is to stir the onions just enough to avoid burning the but not so often as to interrupt the browning process. Combine the onions with the meat in the Dutch oven. Deglaze the skillet with beer, scraping with a wooden spoon to loosen any brown bits, and bring to a boil. Pour the beer over the meat. Add thyme and bay leaves. Simmer, covered, over low heat until the meat is very tender, 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Before putting on Pastry top, stir in red currant jelly and vinegar; place in oven for 15 minutes or until pastry is golden

  5. on top of this you have the oil price (abeith some 30% lower than peak) at still mopre than $100 a barrell, as I discussed many times this again was outside government influence ...

When trying to make a point it would be good to get your facts right, because when you don't it can render the rest of your opinion on a subject as bollocks
